Well his name is Anton Szandor LaVey, and on April 30, 1966, he formally announced the opening of his elite organization called the Church of Satan.

And to help you understand how really dedicated he was to the fallen angel Lucifer, I've gone ahead and included just a few of his very own words:

"Satan is the ultimate hero, the strong dark force in nature, which is superior... Who is God, and who is the Devil?... humans are the true Gods."

This is what Dr. La Vey believed, and then on October 29, 1997, he died.
