Dear Children,

Well we’re back again... just me, you, and Jesus! And seeing how it was in the last message that we discussed how the Lord has called me to deliver this one more mind boggling revelation on the "human body and sin", without even giving me the brains to do it (I’m a "mental midget"), what better time than now to explain just how this brainless operation is all being carried out.

In fact going back to the beginning of this "sin destroying" revelation from God, the way it all started was with the Lord instructing me to write a sermonet series comparing the New Testament "water and fire baptism" with the Old Testament "animal sacrifices". And of course for most "intelligent" folks that probably sounds like a simple enough task to do, but for all us "mental midgets" it’s sorta like looking for one of those itty bitty little needles in a great big old haystack. I mean get real!

But anyway, in order to help you understand how God gives us everything we need to do the seemingly impossible tasks that He’s asked us to do, let me give you the following simple little illustration. In fact seeing how I’ve already brought up the subject of looking for something that’s seemingly impossible to find, just how impossible do you figure it would be to jump into a car and drive to one specific house when the only thing you knew about the house was the way it looked? I mean let’s say this house could be anywhere in the world, and the only clue you’ve got is a 4x6 glossy photo. So just how in the round world would you start off on this seemingly impossible journey of finding one specific house which is located somewhere on planet earth and do it without knowing the street, city, state, and country? Well that’s about the way I felt when the Lord asked me to write this series on How Do You Want Your Fire... Now Or Later? I mean I didn’t even have the foggiest idea as to which street to head out on, so I just prayed about it!

Now you would tend to think that when asking directions from The God Of The Universe the answer to the question of "how do I get there from here" would come back in the form of a very detailed map showing both the starting point and final destination. That’s what you would expect from The All Knowing God, but that ain’t the way He works. Because you see for the last five (5) sermonets I’ve been given five (5) sets of directions that go something like this: Head out east on Hercules Street, turn south onto Highway 54, get off onto east-bound I-10, and continue on to the McDonald’s at Exit 98 where you’ll find a pay phone to call 1-800-CAL-LGOD for more information.

So just what do you think about those directions? Not exactly what you’d consider complete by any stretch of the imagination, but that’s pretty close to what I’ve been getting every time I’ve asked the Lord how to get to wherever it is that I’m suppose to be going with each of these sermonets. And that ain’t even all. Because you see when I finally get to that McDonalds’ pay phone, I most often end up dialing that 800 number for several days before ever getting connected. In other words even though the Lord has shown me the 4x6 glossy of the house that we’re headed to, it certainly ain’t all that easy getting there.

In fact after having followed God’s last set of instructions, and completing part V of this series, would you believe I’ve been four (4) days at the McDonalds’ pay phone trying to get a call through for part VI? Well I have, but glory be to God that I finally got through! And now that the Lord has spoken, would you even want to venture a guess as to which way we’re headed with this message of Naturally Dead Until Spiritually Alive? Well according to the directions I’ve gotten, the following from I Corinthians 15:44-50 is going to be the first part of this week’s journey: "...There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural: and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption."

Now you’ll have to admit that the preceding Scripture on " the body" seems to be right "on target" with our final destination of "the human body and sin". So now that the Lord’s got us heading out in the right direction, all we’ve got to do is slow down long enough to figure out what this "natural body" and "spiritual body" of the "human body" is really all about.

Because even though we’ve still got a few more sermonets yet to go in this series, this is right about the place where all the body parts we’ve uncovered so far are gonna start fitting together real nice. And getting back to the "natural and spiritual" side of things, it’s that one little old word "body" that was translated from the Greek word "soma" which is actually a very common word in the medical world of today. In fact the human body’s "master computer control" nervous system is actually divided-up into two separate systems. You’ve first of all got the "somatic" system which can be made to do whatever the human wants it to do (voluntary control), and then there’s the "autonomic" system which pretty much does whatever it want’s to do regardless of what the human might think (involuntary control). And to help you understand what this "involuntary control" is all about, God designed the autonomic system to be responsible for doing the repetitious critical functions such as keeping the heart pumping and the lungs breathing. So you see the autonomic nervous system does a whole bunch of very necessary things in our bodies involuntarily, without us ever having to think about doing them.

OK, so now that we’ve uncovered the fact that there are two different kinds of nervous systems, let’s get back to the one we’re going to focus on for today. Because it’s through the somatic nervous system of the body (soma) that the human has the ability to decide (voluntary control) what "motion" it’s going to produce next. In fact doing just a quick review of what we uncovered in the last sermonet (Possessed By The Spirit?), it’s the nerve sensors of the "master computer control" that are responsible for letting the brain know exactly what’s going on in the outside world. So you see whenever something exciting happens to the nerve sensors of the eyes, ears, nose, mouth, or skin, they place the call to the brain letting it know exactly how they feel (emotion) about what’s going down in the outside world. And once the brain gets the emotional message from the nerve sensors, it in-turn places the necessary calls to the motor nerves telling them which muscles to move in order to make the "motion" that will satisfy the "emotion" produced by the very excited nerve sensors.

So that’s what the human body (soma) is all about. But seeing how the human was "made in the image of God", and it take’s a total of three different parts to make a human in God’s "image", what do you say we go ahead and take a look at the other two parts right now? Because you see God’s design of the human includes something called a "soul" that’s kinda like sandwiched in-between the "body" and the "spirit" (body-soul-spirit). And it’s because of the fact that it’s sandwiched "in-between" the other two parts that it most often ends up getting "caught in the middle".

Now the discussion that’s about ready to take place could very possibly cause severe distress to some folk’s "master computer control". So in preparation for all the up-and-coming details, it’s probably best to just go ahead and wrinkle up your forehead right now and be done with it. Because you see God designed the "soul" to have the final say-so when it comes to deciding what the body (soma) is going to do next. And in order for the soul to get all the necessary information needed to make the right decision, God designed it with two separate sets of "ears". One set is tuned into what the "master computer control" of the body (soma) is saying and the other set is tuned into what the Spirit (spirit) is saying. And seeing how the human was originally designed to worship and obey only God Almighty, the "spirit ears" of the soul were likewise intended to hear only from the Spirit of God.

So you see the way this God designed human soul works is that information from the "outside world" comes into the body through the nerve sensors, which is then processed by the rest of the "master computer control" in order to make the decision as to what motion is needed to satisfy the emotions (feelings) of the sensors. And it’s right about the time the "master computer control" hollers out what it thinks the body ought to do next that the soul tunes-in it’s second set of ears to hear what the Spirit of God has to say. And of course iffin the soul of the human really cares about pleasing God, it only does what the body (soma) wants if it’s in agreement what the Spirit of God wants.

And now that you understand how this arrangement of the body-soul-spirit is suppose to work, can you even imagine some of the situations that the soul might get into as a result of this "double ear" design? I mean I’m hear to tell you that the nerve sensors of the body can get pretty "dog gone" emotional when they don’t get exactly what they want. In fact the point that I was trying to make a few lines back was that when the nerve sensors get excited about what they want, and what they want ain’t what God wants, the whole "master computer control" kinda like goes into an uproar... with the poor old soul getting caught in the middle.

Not a pretty sight! And of course that’s the very good reason why the Scripture from I Corinthians describes the body (soma) in terms of being either "natural" or "spiritual". You see in the true sense of the word, the soul of the "natural body" human is sorta like "enslaved" or "yoked" to the nervous system of the "master computer control." The natural body soul has kinda like given-in to pleasing the body (soma) and given-up on pleasing God. In fact a good way to describe it is that the "ears of the soul" that hear what the body wants have developed perfect hearing, while the "ears of the soul" that hear what the Spirit wants have become almost completely deaf. I mean whatever it is that the body (soma) wants is what the soul of the "natural body" is going to try and give it. Got it?

OK, so that’s the way the "natural body" works, but what about the "spiritual" one? Well you see the real honest to goodness "spiritual body" is what we’re gonna get iffin we make it on into Heaven. Because if we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior while living in our "natural bodies" on earth, He’s gonna give us one of these "spiritual bodies" when we die. And you see the great thing about the soul in a "spiritual body" is that it won’t be suffering from "spiritual deafness" anymore. It’ll have perfect spiritual hearing so that whatever the Spirit of God says will be what the "spirit body" will do.

So how are those forehead wrinkles doing? Well now that we’ve made it on into Heaven with our "spiritual bodies" what do you say we drop back in the "natural" and try to understand just how in the world we ever got there. Because you see the soul is not only the part of the human that will continue "living" forever in either Heaven or Hell, but it’s also the part of the human that God looks at when deciding which one of these two places it’s gonna go to for evermore. In fact one of the best ways of figuring out whether a soul is "Heaven-bound" or not is through a hearing test specifically designed to flunk souls that are "spiritually hard of hearing"!

Now even though souls that continue failing the spiritual hearing test will be rewarded with everlasting accommodations in the burning fires of Hell, the real purpose of God’s test is not to flunk souls but to make sure they’ve got what it takes to be promoted on into Heaven. In other words God’s gonna give out His spiritual hearing test so that we can understand how spiritual deaf we are and correct it. Because you see the shocking truth of spiritual hearing is that all "natural body" humans are just naturally borne spiritually hard of hearing. So the bottom line problem with this world today is that a whole lotta souls have a really big hearing problem that only a powerful "spiritual hearing aid" can resolve.

But before we get into the subject of "spiritual hearing aids," what do you say we head on back to the Garden of Eden and see how the soul of the "natural body" human got so all fired hard of hearing in the first place. Because it was in Once Upon A Time, God's People Were Perfect! that we uncovered the fact that in the beginning Adam and Eve had perfectly sinless bodies (soma). God created them perfect without hearing problems (without sin), but yet fully capable of sinning (voluntary control). In fact taking it on down to the basics of sin, it was only because of their ability to sin that they needed to be tested on their "spiritual hearing" in the first place. I mean in the pure and simple of it, sin is nothing more than the act of not doing what God’s told you to do. And you see the truly amazing thing about that first spiritual hearing test in the Garden of Eden was that it was sooo very simple. I mean there was only one thing that God had told them not to do, and that was not to eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

All right, so in the beginning Adam and Eve had perfect spiritual hearing. God’s Spirit said "Thou Shalt Not Eat Of The Fruit From The Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good And Evil"... and without a doubt their souls heard Him Loud and Clear!!! In fact going back to what we uncovered in Which Door Did Satan Use? about "spiritual hearing" through the nerve sensors of the nose, it was this thing about the "forbidden fruit" that was the very first instance in which God actually put His "nose hearing design" to the test.

So you see Adam and Eve "spiritually heard" God’s message about what they must not do, when along came the serpent with an entirely different message of his own: "Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?... Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:1-5)

Now the important thing to remember is that this message from Satan was not one of those spiritual message heard through the nose. God had made Adam and Eve’s nose "off limits" to the spirit of Satan, but their "naked" ears weren’t... and of course that’s the very good reason why that little old serpent, who was totally possessed of the devil, did all the talking for him. So the lies of Satan, as spoken by the serpent, traveled through the air waves to Eve, where they were picked up by the nerve sensors of her ear and very quickly sent on to her brain stem. And it was at this point in the "master computer control" process that the brain stem sent the emotional message on up to her brain fully expecting to get the step by step instructions on how to proceed with the motions that were needed to pick and eat the fruit that would make Eve a little god.

Whew! However, it was right about the time Eve’s "master computer control" brain started shouting out the fruit picking instructions that her soul’s "spiritual ears" heard something just a little bit different through her nose. "Not on your life!," said the Spirit of God. In fact the truth of the matter is that this little disagreement between Eve’s body (soma; master computer control) and God’s Spirit had actually been going on ever since the serpent started talking. I mean it was during the serpents very convincing conversation that The Spirit was pointing out the fact that Eve shouldn’t even be thinking about doing what the serpent was suggesting in the first place.

But anyway, the war was on between the body (soma) and The Spirit... and Eve’s soul was caught right slap dab in the middle. So what was she going to do? Well what the serpent was saying sure did emotionally excite the nerve sensors of her natural ears. And seeing how it was what he said that made her feel soooo good, then He must be telling the truth and that other voice must be telling the lie. And of course it was based on those emotional feelings of Eve’s natural body that Eve’s everlasting soul made the following very wrong decision: and "...she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves aprons." (Genesis 3:6)

So Adam and Eve’s soul disobeyed the Spirit of God and committed the very first sin. And as a result of that very first sin, just what kind of changes do you figure took place inside of them, at that exact moment in time, in order for all their children, for all eternity, to become spiritually hard of hearing? Well do you remember the story of Pavlov and his dog? Because it was in the last sermonet Possessed By The Spirit? that we uncovered the details of how Pavlov actually taught his poor old dog’s brain stem to believe that what he was hearing (the ringing of the bell) was what he was smelling (the T-bone). So you see even though his ability to "smell what he heard" was not the way God had originally designed him, he was able to easily make the change in his "master computer control" with a little help from his "friend."

And speaking of "so called" friends, that’s exactly what the serpent was to the lovely newly wed couple when he convinced their souls to believe the lie of their natural ears instead of the truth of God’s Spirit. Because you see it was right about the time this sinful "fruit picking exercise" began that Adam and Eve’s brain stem actually recorded each and every "motion" that was involved in the "fruit picking process." And of course seeing how the brain stem has the remarkable ability to repeat past experiences without any added help from the brain, it was from that day forward that Satan’s lie could automatically produce the same sin without Adam and Eve having to think about it. Their brain stem had become yoked to Satan so that whenever he rang the bell they smelled the T-bone.

So you see the very sinful "unnatural" act of picking fruit from the forbidden tree just all the sudden became a "natural" thing for their bodies (soma) to do. And seeing how we are all a result of what Adam and Eve were, it’s because of that one very unnatural act of sin that the human "hearing problem" came into existence. Because when it comes to "picking forbidden fruit," from that day forward, the "ears of the human soul" seem to have perfect hearing for what the body wants but not for what the Spirit wants.

And now that we’ve established the fact that Adam, Eve, and all their children (which even includes us) have, as a result of that little incidence in the Garden of Eden, become both "soulfully yoked" to Satan and "spiritually hard of hearing to God," what do you say we go back to the Scripture and uncover just a few of the facts on how to fix these problems. Because picking it back up in I Corinthians 15:44-50 once again: "...There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural: and afterward that which is spiritual... Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption"

OK, so now that we’ve got the basics on this "natural body" and "spiritual body" stuff, what do you say we take that next step up by figuring out the difference in a "living soul" and a "quickening spirit." Because you see in order for our "natural bodies" to become the "spiritual bodies" needed to get us on into Heaven, our living souls have to somehow become a quickening spirit first.

So where do we start? Well how about Genesis 2:7 with the very first Adam: "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Because you see it’s in that one very simple verse that we can see how the God of the Universe used two distinct steps to create the very first human man Adam. In fact after all the dust had settled from step one of God’s creating process, Adam could best be described as one more cold lifeless corpse of a man. In the beginning Adam was dead... and then the Lord God breathed life giving breath into his nose.

Now notice very carefully how the life giving breath went into Adam’s nose and not his mouth. I mean anyone who knows anything about CPR (bringing someone back to life after they’ve kicked the bucket) will tell you that the way it’s done is not through the nose but through the mouth. So why do you figure God Almighty did it the way He did it? Well it all goes back to our little discussion in Possessed By The Spirit? about the nerve sensors of the nose. Because you see The Life God breathed into Adam was not your ordinary everyday type of air but the Spirit of God. And it was likewise this same Spirit Breath that gave Adam his living breathing everlasting soul that would eventually have to take the "spiritual hearing test" and choose to follow either the Spirit of God or his natural body.

So it was right about the time Father God gave Adam his first and only "thou shalt not" in Genesis 2:17 that his living soul got scheduled for it’s very first test: "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it; for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." That was the test, and it was likewise the very second that Adam took a bite from the forbidden fruit that he died.

Now if Adam died the exact moment that the forbidden fruit was inserted between his lips, then how in the round world did he ever live to be 930 years old? Well even though Adam would eventually die physically, the death that he died immediately after the bite was spiritual. In other words once Adam committed the sin, his body became unfit for the Spirit of God to live in, so that the Spirit of God had to leave. And even though Adam continued kicking long after the Spirit of God left his body, it’s because of the fact that God’s Spirit is The True Life, that gives Everlasting Life, that he was really and truly what you would consider everlastingly dead from that point on.

So that was the first Adam, and now it’s time for the second. Because you see even though Adam deserved to burn in Hell’s trash dump forever and ever, God was prepared to give him another shot at Heaven with one of those spiritual hearing "make-up test". However seeing how Adam’s soul had almost become completely deaf to the Spirit of God, taking a make-up test wouldn’t do him a whole lotta good until he first got a hearing aid. And of course it was The Spiritual Hearing Aid that God had designed for Adam #1 that could miraculously transform him into the Adam #2.

Now there’s lots to be said about God’s Spiritual Hearing Aid that we’re not even going to mention just yet, however we will go so far as to say that this Hearing Aid is not your ordinary electronic device but instead Jesus Christ The Son of God. In fact Jesus is able to make the "spiritually hard of hearing souls" of our "natural bodies" hear and obey God’s Spirit through what’s commonly called His Salvation Process. And you see the way this Salvation Process came about was that Jesus, as the "Body" of God’s "Spirit-Body-Soul" in Heaven, became the "natural body" of the man Jesus here on earth, so that He could live a perfectly sinless life and die for the sins of the world. God made Jesus a man with a perfectly sinless body so that He could take every sin of the world into His "natural body" and yet not allow all those sins to make His "natural body soul" spiritually deaf.

In other words what Jesus did in His "natural body" on earth was impossible for any other man to do. Without having ever sinned, Jesus took on every sin of the world since Adam #1s first sin, and through an unimaginable amount of pain and suffering on the cross was able to overcome His "natural body’s" desire to make His soul spiritually deaf. And after each and every sin had been completely defeated in His body, Jesus "said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost" and died.

So you see it’s only through Jesus’ death on the cross that we have this Salvation Process available to change all the #1 Adams on this earth into #2 Adams. In fact the following from Romans 5:19 and 6:1-16 gives us a pretty good idea how this Salvation Process works: "For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous... that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin... Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"

Now do you understand what The Salvation Process is all about? Well it all started with Adam #1’s sin making all of us sinners, but it likewise ended when Jesus (the Body of God) obeyed His Father (the Soul of God) and became The Man Who defeated "sin and death" through His own Body on the cross. And of course the reason Father God wanted Jesus to do it was so that all the "natural body" humans (Adam #1s) could become "spiritual body" humans (Adam #2s). In other words it’s because of what Jesus did on the cross that we can not only have Satan’s "yoke of sin" removed from our souls, but also receive "perfect spiritual hearing" in order not to sin anymore.

And of course what we’ve just described is the beginning of the "spiritual body" on earth, which eventually ends up as the "spiritual body" in Heaven... that is if the Salvation Process is continued right on up until the very end: "For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself." (Philippians 3:20-21)

Now is there any doubt in your mind that this "natural body/spiritual body" thing is sorta like really really deep? I mean we’ve been digging for a loooong time... and we ain’t even through digging yet. Because you see where we’ve been heading with this message is the place that we can grab hold to the "quickening spirit" that just so happens to be "the yoke busting hearing aid" that somehow manages to turn our "natural body" into a "spiritual" one. I mean this is what it takes to make all those Adam #1s into Adam #2s: "The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit." But just what do you figure actually goes on inside the human body in order for all these soulful spiritual changes to take place?

Well it’s right about here that you’d better put on your safety goggles... I mean the dirt’s getting ready to fly! You see it’s based on the discussion we’ve just had that I can safely say, without a doubt, that even though "living souls" in "natural bodies" are living breathing humans with warm blood flowing through their veins, they’re not even by the wildest stretch of the imagination really and truly Alive. In fact with just a little bit of digging we’ve uncovered the very interesting truth that a "quickening spirit" is none other than "The Spirit that makes a natural body become alive." And seeing how it’s the "living soul" part of the "natural body" that makes it "dead and destined to Hell" in the first place, then the following final verse from God’s chosen Scripture must hold the clue of how it all works: "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption."

OK, so now that we’ve gotten this far into the message, would anybody like to make a guess as to what the word "flesh" actually means? Well you see the way it all works is that once the "natural body" becomes all "yoked up" with "Satan’s sin" it sorta like makes a name change to "flesh." And seeing how God’s Word clearly states that all "flesh and blood" is going to burn in the fires of Hell forever, that kinda like explains the part about the "flesh" but what about the "blood"?

Well before we can answer that question we need to take a close look at the following four Scriptures: "For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul." (Leviticus 17:11) "For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off." (Leviticus 17:14) "But the flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat." (Genesis 9:4) "Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh." (Deuteronomy 12:23)

And now that you’ve read all that, can you tell me why it’s the "blood" that ends up in Hell with the "flesh" when it was actually the "soul" that allowed the "natural body" to obey Satan in the first place? Well the key to this whole mystery lies in the fact that the Hebrew word translated as "life" is the same word that often gets translated as "soul". And of course that can only mean that "life is the soul" and "soul is the life"... it just all depends on which way you’re looking at it.

But anyway, the way we’re going to look at it today is "soul". And iffin we go back to the preceding Scriptures and plug in "soul" where there’s "life" we’ll come up with the following eye popping changes: "For the soul of the flesh is in the blood... For it is the soul of all flesh; the blood of it is for the soul thereof... for the soul of all flesh is the blood thereof... But the flesh with the soul thereof, which is the blood thereof... for the blood is the soul; and thou mayest not eat the soul with the flesh."

Now what do you think about them apples? The "soul" of God’s three part human (body-soul-spirit) is actually contained-in or part-of the human blood. And you see now that we’ve uncovered this great revelation on "the human body and sin" we can kinda sorta understand why God used "flesh and blood" when describing the Hell-bound "body and soul" of all the "sin-filled people" who haven’t been "spiritually quickened"!

So with all that in mind we’re going to shut it on down until the next time when we’ll uncover the truth about how the "blood" does what it does in the "master computer control" once the "soul" gets all "yoked-up" with "Satan and his sin". In fact iffin we’re really really lucky, we’re not only going to see how the blood does it’s dirty work for Satan by contaminating the flesh with his sin, but we’re also going to see how it can do it’s clean-up work for the Lord once it’s been "spiritually quickened".

But until then, please keep it in mind that... although our bodies and souls were designed for God’s Spirit, they’ve forever been used for the sake of God’s foes, however iffin we’ll quicken them with His Holy Spirit, then the smell of our burning flesh we’ll never behold.
