The following letter-form was brought about as a means of teaching my children the Word of God through the mail. And of course, quite naturally so, that’s the reason I begin these letters with "Dear Children" and end them with "Love Dad". So for the rest of you who participate in these weekly messages, please keep their original intended purpose in mind.
3 June, 2007
Guess what we’re going to do in this week’s sermonet. We’re going to “do” another pastor! What a joy! I mean, here we go with yet another “Word of correction” to someone that should be giving it instead of needing it. And, of course, it’s for the very same reason that I pray what the Lord has given me to say about this pastor will “shake him and wake him” to the Truth of his ungodly life! Amen?
Because you see his name is Robert Warmath, and he pastors the Skyline Baptist Church at 10061 Rushing Road in El Paso, Texas (79924 zip). In fact what better way to start things off than with the following Handpicked Scripture, straight from God and especially for him. I mean, after all, the title of this message is “The Anti-Christ Spirit In Pastor Warmath”:
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesset that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” (1 John 4:1-3 KJV)
Now what did you think about that? Pretty bold, huh? I mean God Almighty chose Scripture exposing the “false prophets and their antichrist spirit” to deal with Pastor Warmath. What a bust! However, please keep it in mind that this “antichrist spirit” is not the spirit of “Mr. Antichrist” but the spirit of a “false prophet” instead. You see “Mr. Antichrist” will be one more really bad dude who’s totally sold out to Satan and totally empowered by Satan to oppose Jesus Christ during the Great Tribulation! And of course Pastor Warmath is really not that bad. I mean his resistance to the Gospel of Jesus Christ is to a much lesser degree. In fact the following is what Matthew Henry had to say about these “false prophets’ such as Pastor Warmath:
“It was foreknown by God that antichrists would arise, and antichristian spirits oppose his Spirit and his truth; it was foreknown also that one eminent antichrist would arise, and make a long and fatal war against the Christ of God, and his institution, and honour, and kingdom in the world. This great antichrist would have his way prepared, and his rise facilitated, by other less antichrists, and the spirit of error working and disposing men's minds for him: the antichristian spirit began betimes, even in the apostles' days. Dreadful and unsearchable is the judgment of God, that persons should be given over to an antichristian spirit, and to such darkness and delusion as to set themselves against the Son of God and all the testimony that the Father hath given to the Son! But we have been forewarned that such opposition would arise; we should therefore cease to be offended, and the more we see the word of Christ fulfilled the more confirmed we should be in the truth of it. (Matthew Henry Commentary On The Whole Bible)
So you see in the not-to-distant future “Mr. Antichrist” is going to show himself to the world. And it’s because of the many “false prophets” like Pastor Warmath, and the “spirit of error” working through them, that lots of folks will accept “Mr. Antichrist” as “Christ Jesus” and likewise doom themselves to an everlasting darkness in the fiery pit of Hell. And of course it goes without saying that this is a very dark and deadly matter!!!
Now with that in mind, it’s time for me to share with you a few of the specifics concerning Pastor Warmath’s dark side. And what better way to start this journey than with the following email from me, on the 10th of August 2006, to Brother William Cook in Cape Town, South Africa:
The Lord wanted me to share this one with you. It's another good example of what we're called to do. The attached letter will give you the basics of our mission for the Lord with Pastor Warmath. But the way it all started was Skyline Baptist Church called Alan one day, inviting him to service and dinner on the grounds. We prayed about it and God said "GO", but it was for Alan only. So he went, and his attendance was repeated several times. During several of his sermons the Pastor made comment of 9-11. As Alan shared an outline of what he received through the message the Lord told me that we needed to show the Pastor the Truth about "President Bush and 9-11" through some of the videos that we have. So it was after the 7/2/06 service that Alan invited the Pastor and his wife for a meal. As it turned out he accepted for the following day. I sought the Lord for the specific video to show the Pastor, and the short "9-11 The Truth" that we have posted on our homepage was it. After a prayer for the presence of the Holy Spirit and conversation we had the meal. And it was during the dinner that the Pastor mentioned 9-11, which gave me the opportunity to say that the Lord wanted me to show them a video on the same. As we watched it his wife was amazed. The Pastor seemed to squirm. His wife wanted a copy of it and others that we might have on the subject. But from that day on the Pastor and his wife have made themselves scarce when Alan attends their service. It seems as though the Pastor loves his job more than the Truth. I'll send you those correspondence.
In the Lord Jesus Christ,
Bruce (and Sandy)
So that’s a pretty good overview of what’s taken place with Pastor Warmath…and now for the specifics. Because the following letter is what I sent Pastor Warmath on the 10th of August 2006, some thirty-seven (37) days after our God-appointed dinner date:
Dear Pastor Warmath;
Don't you just love the way God works? Well let me explain.
It was on the 3rd of July, 2006, when the Lord gave me the following Scripture in preparation for you and your lovely wife's dinner date with us that same night:
"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love." (Ephesians 4:11-16 KJV)
And, as you should remember, the Lord had me to ask you a question that night in reference to that same Scripture...and it went something like this:
"Out of the five-fold ministries, which one makes your knees shake and tremble at just the thought of having to walk in it?"
That was the question, but the response you gave was anything but what I expected. Because your reply was that the "apostle and prophet are no more". And then you went on to say that seeing how you are walking in the calling of "pastor and teacher" the only one left is the "evangelist".
Now I really don't remember the rest of your response. I mean my mind was reeling from your absolute disregard for God's Word that states the "five-fold" is made up of "five" and not "three".
But anyway, after you left I sought the Lord for the meaning of your response. Then it was on the 31st, 28 days later, that, as I was preparing for bed, the Lord gave me His answer to my prayer. And what He gave me is that you are called to walk in the calling of "prophet". However, it's due to your "shaking knees" that you have put an eraser to God's Holy Word that states the calling of "prophet" still exists.
Then it was the 6th of August, as we were listening to a message entitled "Revival Series III", that Leonard Ravenhill spoke the following Words...and God says they apply to you:
"...Prophets are God’s emergency men for crises hours. God’s emergency men for crises hours. I’ve said before, the trouble with the nation, this is a blanket statement and it’s not true of everybody, but most of our pulpits have puppets in them instead of prophets. And we need God in mercy to send us a generation of prophets in this critical hour in which we are living. Now the prophet isn’t somebody who foretells merely a certain thing is going to happen next year or 1983. The prophet is a man who’s message is adjusted and it bears down on the iniquity, on the situation, as God sees it. He’s bringing God’s mind to a people who are deaf and blind and don’t want to hear."
So, just in case you haven't figured it out by now, we are a ministry of prophets. I mean, after all, these end-times are when the apostate Church needs the prophets the most. And of course seeing how God has revealed that you are one, and that we are called to work together in this calling, you're just going to have to ignore your "trembling knees". I mean you really don't have any other good choice in this matter:
"For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance." (Romans 11:29 KJV)
"For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (Matthew 25:29-30 KJV)
We need to talk.
In the Lord Jesus Christ,
Bruce (and Sandy)
Now, as it regards Pastor Warmath, Brother Ravenhill’s statement certainly applies to him: the prophet brings God’s mind to a people who are deaf and blind and don’t want to hear. Because you see I am the prophet who has spoken the “Word of God” to Pastor Warmath…and it was most certainly a Word that he didn’t want to hear. In fact, now that you’ve read my last letter/e-mail to Pastor Warmath (8/10/06), please allow me to share the first (7/10/06):
Dear Pastor Warmath;
Just wanted to let you know that Alan and I thoroughly enjoyed the time of food and fellowship with you and your wife last Monday. There were many things said "in the Spirit" that need to be discussed further, and one of them is President Bush's false claims of being a "born-again" Christian. We can give you loads of proof that he is an imposter; a friend of the Devil and an enemy of Christ. And, of course, as pastor, it is your job to warn the Church:
"Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple." (Romans 16:17-18 KJV)
Also, concerning the 12 min. "911 video" that you watched with us, the following link will allow you to download it. If you do a "right click" on the link, and then select "save to target" on the drop down menu, it will save the video to your computer.
In closing, we are in the last of the last days. It is of the utmost importance that we embrace the Truth of "giving it all up for Jesus":
"And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." (Mark 8:34-38 KJV)
Please pray about what's been said, and then let's discuss it further.
In the Lord Jesus Christ,
So that was “in the beginning with Pastor Warmath”, back when the Lord had me to invite him to expose the truth about the unbelieving “Christian” – President Bush – to his congregation. But seeing how that email got a “no response” from the Pastor, the Lord had me to send out another hot one on 7/25/06:
Dear Pastor Warmath;
It grieves me that I must write this e-mail, but I must obey my Father in Heaven.
When we first met you and your wife I had such high expectations. However, what the Lord is showing me is that the church "position" you hold as pastor is your "job". And of course the most important reason that most people "work" is so they can get a "paycheck" ($$$$$$). And because of this, the Almighty calls you a "hireling":
"I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep." (John 10:11-13 KJV)
I mean , after all, if you obeyed God by warning your congregation of the "wolf" in President Bush you could lose your "life"...which of course is your "job".
In the Lord Jesus Christ,
And there you have it: the story of Pastor Warmath “the false prophet”! But let’s not stop here! I mean what a perfect opportunity to do a little digging into the Word of God! Because you see what we have here is a real-life example – “Pastor Warmath” – that will greatly enhance our studies on the “spirit of antichrist”. And having said that, let the Bible study begin:
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets (G5578) are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth (G3670) that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth (G3670) not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” (1 John 4:1-3 KJV)
Now, a good place to start this investigation is with a proper understanding of the term “false prophets”:
False Prophets (G5578) [pseudoprophe¯te¯s] – From G5571 and G4396; a spurious prophet, that is, pretended foretelleror religious impostor: - false prophet. (Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionary)
So what do you think about that? Brother Strong says the “false” prophet is a “spurious” prophet, who, in all actuality, is nothing less than a “religious imposter”. I mean is that bold or what? But taking that just a little bit further, we can pick up on a deeper meaning of this “spurious” word with the help of Brother Webster:
Spurious – Not genuine; not proceeding from the true source, or from the source pretended; counterfeit; false; adulterate. (Webster’s 1828 Dictionary)
You see the “prophets” being spoken of in the book of “I John” (the ones who became false) were not only chosen by, but also a representative of, and therefore identified with, the Lord God Almighty – Yahweh the “Three-in-One”. And seeing how these “prophets of God” were called by God to be the “mouthpiece of God” that would speak the Word of God through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, it was through their simple act of disobedience (not speaking what God had given them to speak) that the “false” became a part of their prophetic title. And of course the reason so many of them chose not to speak what God had given them to speak was because of the simple fact that most of the people didn’t want to hear what God had to say in the first place:
“The prophet is a man who’s message is adjusted and it bears down on the iniquity [sin], on the situation, as God sees it. He’s bringing God’s mind to a people who are deaf and blind and don’t want to hear." (Leonard Ravenhill)
So just as the Word of God proclaims, there are bunches of these “false prophets” wondering about who claim to be walking in the Holy Spirit but ain’t! And, of course, herein lies the Truth of the problem with what they have to say. Because you see the lies they speak will be received as God’s Truth if the Believer isn’t careful to “test the spirits” of the prophet who’s doing the speaking:
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets (G5578) are gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1 KJV)
But the question now arises as to what the Believer must do in order to “test the spirits”…which brings up this thing about “confesseth”:
“And every spirit that confesseth (G3670) not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist.” (1 John 4:3 KJV)
You see for the longest time I’ve had some very serious concerns about that spiritual “test”. I mean, let’s get real! Even the demons can “confess” that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh…or so it might seem:
“And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. And, behold, they [the devils] cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?” (Matthew 8:28-29 KJV)
Now was that a confession or what? I mean those demons knew that Jesus was the Word of God manifested in the flesh…and they spoke it!
“Whosoever shall confess (G3670) that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” (1 John 4:15 KJV)
So you tell me! Did God Almighty, according to 1 John 4:15, dwell in those “confessing demons”? Not a chance! And you see the truth of this “test” to determine the “spirit of antichrist” can only be understood through a proper understanding of the word “confesseth”:
Confesseth (G3670) [homologeo¯] – From a compound of the base of G3674 [homou – together with] and G3056 [logos – thoughtful word; speech]; to assent, that is, covenant, acknowledge: - con- (pro-) fess, confession is made, give thanks, promise. (Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionary)
So just what does it all mean? Well, the answer to that one can be found by going back to the Greek word – “homologeo” – from which the English word “confesseth” was translated. Because you see this one word “homologeo” is actually formed through the combination of two words; “homou” and “logos”. And taking the “homou” word first, let’s see what we can find out:
Homou (G3674) – Genitive case of homos (the same; akin to G260 [A primary particle; properly at the “same” time]) as adverb; at the same place or time: - together. (Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionary)
Now is that straightforward or what? This “confesseth” word means “to be together with the logos” (in place or time), and here’s the skinny on the “logos” word:
Logos (G3056) – the Greek word logos has been employed with a certain degree of uniformity by a series of thinkers to express and define the nature and mode of God's revelation. Logos signifies in classical Greek both “reason” and “word.” The translation “thought” is probably the best equivalent for the Greek term, since it denotes, on the one hand, the faculty of reason, or the thought inwardly conceived in the mind; and, on the other hand, the thought outwardly expressed through the vehicle of language. The two ideas, thought and speech, are indubitably blended in the term logos … (International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)
You see the word “logos” (G3056) has everything to do with the way in which God communicates His “Grace and Truth” to mankind (the human race) so that mankind might “know” Him – become one with Him – and be “saved” from their sin. And what better example of this than Brother John’s description of Christ Jesus – “The Logos”:
“In the beginning was the Word (G3056), and the Word (G3056) was with God, and the Word (G3056) was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made… And the Word (G3056) was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth... In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” (John 1:1-4, 14, 5 KJV)
Now as it concerns Jesus being “The Word” – [“The Logos in Heaven” (G3056)] – before He became “The Christ” – [“The Logos on Earth” (G3056)], let’s go back to that place in time when He created the perfect Heaven and Earth:
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1 KJV)
You see “in the beginning” of God’s Holy Bible we read about God’s original “perfect creation” (God don’t make no junk). However, it was only shortly thereafter (or somewhere thereabouts) that the number one angel in Heaven carried out an organized rebellion against God. Lucifer wanted to be in control, and he wanted it really, really bad…so he attempted a “hostile takeover”. In fact Lucifer’s punishment for committing such an unthinkable act included a transfer to planet Earth and a name change to “Satan”. And seeing how it became his nature to do only “evil” continuously, Satan very promptly set out to trash up his new environment that God had created so “perfect” back “in the beginning” of time…and the following was the end result:
“And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.” (Genesis 1:2a KJV)
So was that radical or what? I mean what happened to God’s perfect Earth???
Well, when it comes down to this thing about somebody taking something of great value and making it completely worthless, the Devil was the first to do it! I mean Satan developed the process! And as bad as the situation might have looked at the time, “The Word in Heaven” – “The Logos” – made a quick work of “speaking” the “light of life” back into that dark and dead planet Earth:
“And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” (Genesis 1:2b KJV)
“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3 KJV)
“And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” (Genesis 1:6 KJV)
“And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.” (Genesis 1:9 KJV)
“And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.” (Genesis 1:11 KJV)
“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:” (Genesis 1:14 KJV)
“And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.” (Genesis 1:20 KJV)
“And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.” (Genesis 1:24 KJV)
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:26 KJV)
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7 KJV)
“And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Genesis 2:16-17 KJV)
Now ain’t God awesome!?!?! I mean did you notice the “Power” of His Word? God actually “spoke” planet Earth back into it’s original perfect state! Whatever “The Logos” said, it just all of the sudden happened…that is with the exception of what “thus saith The Logos” to “the man”. Because you see God Almighty made man with a “soul and spirit” that would allow him to make a choice; to either obey God as “Lord” (Yahweh) or not. And, of course, as we know all too well, it was Satan who convinced the man through the woman to make the choice to disobey God’s commanded concerning the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. In other words, Adam disobeyed God (he sinned), and the Light that was in him – Life everlasting – suddenly went out of him as the darkness of death consumed him.
And with that in mind, it goes without saying that “Satan done it again: He trashed up yet another of God’s perfect creations!”
“And the man was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep…”
And getting back to my earlier statement concerning the word “logos”, it has everything to do with the way in which God communicates “His Grace and Truth” to mankind (the human race) so that mankind might “know” Him and be “saved” from sin. In fact, as this relates back to Jesus being “The Logos” that transforms mankind from sinner to saint, we have the following Scripture that explains precisely how it’s done:
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John 8:12 KJV)
So, that seems easy enough! Right??? Just “follow” Jesus and our darkness will become light. Our sins will be forgiven, we will become new (re-created) creatures living in Christ, and Heaven will be our everlasting home!
But hold on just a cotton-picking minute!! That sounds too easy!!! Just maybe we ought to check out what this “followeth” thing is really all about:
“The first thing involved in following Jesus is a cleaving to Him in believing trust and obedience, those cleaving to Him also following His leading, acting according to His example (John 8:12; 10:4, 5, 27). Hence the constant stress laid by the Lord Jesus upon the need of self-denial and fellowship with Himself in the cross (Matt. 8:19, 20; 10:38; Mark 8:34; John 8:12; 12:26). Thus following Jesus denotes a fellowship of faith as well as a fellowship of life, sharing in His sufferings not only inwardly, but outwardly if necessary (Matt. 9:9; 19:21). (The Complete Word Study New Testament With Greek Parallel)
Now I think you’ll agree with me that the preceding paragraph brought out a few of the particulars involved in “following Jesus” that are very much so thought provoking and controversial to say the least. I mean take for instance the key words “trust, obedience, self-denial, and suffering”. Those are not words that most “Christians” want to hear…especially when it applies to them! In fact, you can believe it or not but this is right about the place we’re going to tie up all the loose ends concerning this thing about “confesseth”…and the following Scripture on “following” is how we’re going to do it:
“The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. What I [Jesus] tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess (G3670) me [Jesus] before men, him will I [Jesus] confess (G3670) also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny (G720) me [Jesus] before men, him will I [Jesus] also deny (G720) before my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:24-33 KJV)
So did you grab hold of that? I mean in order to “confess Jesus” – “become one with The Logos” – we must “consent to the desires of Jesus” by speaking whatever Jesus gives us to speak, and doing it whenever (time) and wherever (place) He directs. “Homou Logos”! We become one with Jesus through our obedience to His Word!!! And of course, seeing how Jesus is “The Logos” that speaks life-changing, life-saving, life-giving “Light” into the darkness of mankind, why do you think mankind (the darkness) is not any too eager to receive it?
“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” (John 1:5 KJV)
Well, the reason for mankind’s rejection of “The Light” (comprehended it not) can be explained in three easy to understand little words; “hatred, rejection, and persecution”. Because you see that’s what Christians can expect to receive whenever they “confess Jesus”:
“And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” (Matthew 10:22 KJV)
“Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.” (Luke 6:22 KJV)
“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.” (Matthew 5:10-11 KJV)
So there you have it! And having said all that, it should be abundantly clear by now why Jesus had to add that bone-rattling threat in His “Matthew 10” discourse to His disciples: “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28 KJV)
You see in the pure and simple of it, whenever we claim Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, but yet allow “fear” to stop us from receiving His “Light” by “confessing” whatever He’s given us to speak, we commit a “damnable” act with everlasting consequences: “But whosoever shall deny (G720) me before men, him will I also deny (G720) before my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:33 KJV)
Deny (G720) [arneomai] - Perhaps from G1 (as a negative particle) and the middle of G4483; to contradict, that is, disavow, reject, abnegate: - deny, refuse. (Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionary)
So are you starting to get a clearer picture of what this “anti-Christ spirit” is all about? I mean, after all, the opposite of “to confess” is “to deny”! Therefore if we claim Jesus as our “Lord and Saviour” (The Christ/Messiah), but yet refuse to “speak” whatever Word He’s given us to speak, we have rejected (anti) Him (Christ) and His life-changing, life-giving, resurrection Light:
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” (1 John 1:5-7 KJV)
Now did you catch that? The Blood of Jesus Christ – what He accomplished on His Cross in order to save mankind from the burning fires of Hell – does not cleanse Christ-professing men/women/boys/girls from their sin unless they “do the Truth” by “walking in His Light”:
“Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess (G3670) that they know God; but in works (G2041) they deny (G720) him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work (G2041) reprobate.” (Titus 1:15-16 KJV)
Are you still with me? Because you see this thing about “confessing Jesus”, by “walking in His Light”, has everything to do with “doing the Truth”… which is a whole lot of “work”:
Work (G2041) [ergon] - From ergo¯ (a primary but obsolete word; to work); toil (as an effort or occupation); by implication an act: - deed, doing, labour, work. (Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionary)
“Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works (G2041) of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work (G2041) of God, that ye believe on him [Jesus] whom he hath sent… Though he [Jesus] were a Son, yet learned he [Jesus] obedience by the things which he [Jesus] suffered; And being made perfect, he [Jesus] became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey (G5219) him [Jesus Christ];” (John 6:28-29 and Hebrews 5:8-9 KJV)
Obey (G5219) [hupakouo¯] - From G5259 and G191; to hear under (as a subordinate), that is, to listen attentively; by implication to heed or conform to a command or authority: - hearken, be obedient to, obey. (Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionary)
Now ain’t that amazing! We’ve kinda like come full circle in our investigation on this “confesseth” thing. I mean just think about it! It was Adam’s disobedience (sin) that caused the darkness to come upon him and all of mankind forever, but it’s through our obedience to Jesus – becoming “one with the Logos” – that “The Light” returns to do the “work” of salvation in us.
“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed (G5219), not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure… For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works (G2041), which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” (Philippians 2:12-13 and Ephesians 2:10 KJV)
So based on that, it falls within the logic of reasoning that we are to “work out our own salvation with fear and trembling” because of the very real likelihood that the thought of being “hated, rejected, and persecuted for Jesus” will keep us from the “work” of “doing the Truth” by “walking in His Light”:
“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me [Jesus], let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? For whosoever shall be ashamed (G1870) of me and of my words (G3056), of him shall the Son of man be ashamed (G1870), when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.” (Luke 9:23-26 KJV)
Ashamed (G1870) - Almost exclusively moral in significance; confusion or abashment through consciousness of guilt or of its exposure. Often including also a sense of terror or fear because of the disgrace connected with the performance of some action. Capacity for shame indicates that moral sense (conscience) is not extinct. (International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)
And there you have it! Just one more word to add to our vocabulary on what not-to-do when it comes to God’s “salvation Word” for our lives. Because you see if we are “ashamed” to speak (or do) what He’s given us to speak (or do), we will go on to “deny” Him by not “walking in the Light” and “doing the Truth”. And, of course, that “work” of disobedience will make us “reprobate” – worthless and unapproved – in the Eyes of God:
“They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.” (Titus 1:16 KJV)
So, for those of us who call ourselves “Christians”, and truly want to receive salvation through the Blood of Jesus, it is absolutely mandatory that we “obey God” in all things and at all cost by doing whatever He says! “JUST DO IT”…come Hell or high water!!!
And having said all of that, it’s now time to get back to our subject of “The Anti-Christ Spirit In Pastor Warmath”. Because it’s through the Scripture of I John 2:18-29 that we’re going to see how everything we’ve discussed points the “finger” at the “antichrist spirit” in Pastor Warmath.
However, before we go there, let me give you a brief overview of the book of I John. I mean seeing how we started off this little Bible study with I John 4, and we’re going to basically conclude it with I John 2, it must have some powerful revelation concerning the “antichrist spirit”:
“In the First Epistle of John there is a distinct polemical purpose. There is no book of the New Testament which is more purposeful in its attack of error. There is “the spirit of error” (1Jo_4:6), opposing the Spirit of truth. “Many false prophets are gone out into the world” (1Jo_4:1), and this from the church itself, “They went out from us, but they were not of us” (1Jo_2:19); and these false prophets are distinctly named “the antichrist” (1Jo_2:22) and “the liar” (same place), and “the deceiver and the antichrist” (2Jo_1:7). This peril, against which the apostle writes, and from which he seeks to defend the church, was Gnosticism, as is proved by what is said again and again in the epistle of the characteristics of this insidious and deadly teaching.” (International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)
So there you have it in a nutshell. One short paragraph on the “antichrist spirit” as defined in the book of I John. But to shorten that one up even more (for simplification purposes), let’s do a recall on the “spurious” word:
Spurious – Not genuine; not proceeding from the true source, or from the source pretended; counterfeit; false; adulterate. (Webster’s 1828 Dictionary)
You see the “antichrist spirit” is the spirit of that man/woman/boy/girl who “profess” Christ with their mouth but yet “deny” Christ through their disobedience to His Word. In other words, the “Spirit of Truth” is not in them:
“If ye love me [Jesus], keep my [Jesus] commandments. And I [Jesus] will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I [Jesus] will not leave you comfortless: I [Jesus] will come to you. (John 14:15-18 KJV)
Jesus died for the sins of the world so that His Spirit – the Holy Spirit (the Comforter) – might be allowed to indwell mankind and “fix up” (the Spirit of Truth) what Satan “trashed up” (sin):
“He [Jesus – The Logos] was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:10-13 KJV)
So where do you figure we get this Power to be re-created (born again) into the sons of God (Spirit of Truth)? Well of course this takes us back to our discussion on “The Logos” and the Power of His Word (Spirit) to bring Light into the innermost darkness of our flesh:
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God…Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit…It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 3:3; 3:5-6; 6:63 KJV)
Are you getting the picture? The commands of God, as spoken through Christ Jesus “The Logos”, are Spirit (the Holy Spirit/Comforter) that will transform (re-create) us from sinner (sinful flesh) to Saint (sons of God) if we will only just do whatever He says. We become the “Spirit of Truth” (born again – one with Christ) through our unwavering obedience to His Word for our lives…and herein lies the rub:
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new… Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 John 3:6-9 KJV)
You see the “rub” that I’m referring to is “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin”. I mean there are bunches of so-called Christians out there, in the church world of today, that have tried their dead-level best to eradicate that “chafing” Scripture as if it never meant what God intended! And of course the reason for it is because of the “pet sins” they so desperately desire to keep. But what’s new?!?!?! I mean that’s old hat! In fact why do you think Brother John had to write about it in the first place?
Well the answer to that one is easy; Gnosticism! And of course the folks who practiced it – the Gnostics – were the ones who possessed this “antichrist spirit” that wanted to be “Christian” but yet keep on sinning:
“First John is a pastoral epistle written to accomplish a number of things for the assemblies in which it would be read… One of the basic emphasis of the letter deals with gnosticism, a movement that was fully developed in the second century. Gnosticism involved a platonic philosophy that was influencing the Christian Churches in John’s day… Part of the teaching involved an irreconcilable dualism – that the spirit and body were two separate entities, with the flesh and matter being evil and able to do whatever it desired. In contrast, the spirit was good and functional in a completely different manner. Since the body (matter) was inherently evil there was a problem with the incarnation of Jesus, so the Gnostics presented the idea that Jesus only appeared to have a body. To them, in reality He was only an apparition, or a phantom. John was careful to point out that Jesus was a real person…” (Jimmy Swaggart Reference Edition – King James Study Bible)
So that’s just the basics on the “antichrist spirit”, but the Lord wants us to go a little deeper into this discussion on Gnosticism. In fact here’s what Brother Dake had to say about it:
Gnosticism – a philosophical and religious system teaching that knowledge rather than faith is the key to salvation. It swept over the church from Syria to Gaul like an epidemic and caused much confusion among Christians from the 1st to the 6th century. [Here are] Nine main points of Gnosticism:
1. A claim to a higher and special knowledge of truth, a tendency to regard knowledge as superior to faith, and an insight into new light which the ordinary believer did not possess.
2. The separation of matter and spirit, the flesh being essentially sinful and the source of all evil.
3. The attempt in solving the problems of creation, and the origin of evil by a creator as being distinct from the Supreme God.
4. A denial of the true humanity of Jesus Christ, looking upon the life of Christ, and especially His sufferings on the cross as unreal.
5. A denial of the personality of the Supreme God.
6. A denial of the free will of man.
7. A claim that spiritual communion with God is attained through asceticism or denial of pleasures and comforts of life: on the other hand, an indifference to sin leading to failure and licentiousness.
8. A combination of certain Christian doctrines with various pagan philosophies to tone down the distinction between them. This appealed to many in the church who were dissatisfied with the simplicity of the gospel.
9. The O.T. Scriptures were the product of the inferior creator of the world, who was the God of the Jews, but not the true and Supreme God.
It is regrettable that some parts of gnosticism are fostered by certain elements of the church today. All these points are fallacies and must be rejected by Bible believers. (Dake’s Annotated Reference Bible)
The Gnostics were a bunch of “Christians” who enjoyed their sin. In fact they loved “sinning” so much they came up with a new religion that allowed it; Gnosticism! No longer was it necessary for these Christians to “take up their cross and follow Jesus” by “denying self” in obedience to “God’s Word” so that the “sinful flesh” might be “crucified” and “born of His Spirit”. No longer was it necessary for them to suffer “hatred, rejection, and persecution” for the cause of Christ in order to be “re-created in the Image of God”. You see these “Christians” didn’t even believe that the “body, soul, and spirit” of sinful mankind could be made new – transformed – by the Spirit of God…because if they believed it they’d have to stop their sinning! And of course this was the exact same reason for them not having “faith” in the basic “salvation” principles that were demonstrated and made real through the life of our “Lord and Saviour” Jesus Christ:
The “Word in Heaven” became “Flesh on Earth” and was empowered by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to live a perfectly sinless life through a walk of obedience to the Will of the Father in order to take on the sin of the world and destroy it in His Body while suffering on His Cross! Jesus defeated “all sin” through His crucified Flesh, gave up the Ghost and died, and was resurrected into everlasting life on the third day so that all who believed in Him might be rescued (saved) from their sin. That’s the gospel…but the Gnostics didn’t want to believe it!!!
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” (Romans 1:16-21 KJV)
So what does a “Gnostic” Christian have to do in order to “hold the truth in unrighteousness”? It’s very simple: NOTHING! In other words, whenever a Christian knows what to do (holds the truth), but yet doesn’t do it, they can not help but to continue in their sin by doing their works of unrighteousness (hold the truth in unrighteousness). Because you see the “gospel of Christ” (the good news that brings rewards) is that “Word from God” (The Light – His Spirit) that will set us free from the sins of our past, and give us the Power to sin no more…that is if we will only just do whatever He’s instructed us to do! And as I’m about to show you, it’s verse 19 that tells the story of how the “antichrist spirit” comes about in all “those who have His Light but yet don’t allow it to become one with them by doing the Truth” (they hold the truth in unrighteousness):
“Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.” (Romans 1:19 KJV)
You see the key word in that Scripture is “manifest”, and the process by which the anti-Christ spirit comes about in a disobedient Christian is as follows: “when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, because that which may be known of God is manifest (G5318) in them.”
So how can we know God – God be manifest in us – but yet not glorify God? Well the answer to that one can be found by tracing this “manifest” word back to it’s roots:
Manifest (G5318) [phaneros] - From G5316; shining, that is, apparent (literally or figuratively); neuter (as adverb) publicly, externally: - abroad, + appear, known, manifest, open [+ -ly], outward ([+ -ly]). (Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionary)
Shine (G5316) [phaino¯] - Prolongation for the base of G5457; to lighten (shine), that is, show (transitive or intransitive, literal or figurative): - appear, seem, be seen, shine, X think. (Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionary)
Light (G5457) [pho¯s] - From an obsolete phao¯ (to shine or make manifest, especially by rays; compare G5316 and G5346); luminousness (in the widest application, natural or artificial, abstract or concrete, literal or figurative): - fire, light. (Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionary)
You see the root of this word progression is the “light” which first “shines” and then becomes “manifest” in the mind of the Christian. And taking this investigation a little further, we find the following interesting facts about this “light”:
Light (G5457) [pho¯s] - Light of the sun or of the day (Acts 9:43; Rev. 18:23). Contrast pheggos (5338), the light of the moon or or the other luminaries of the night (Matt. 24:29; Mark 13:24; Luke 11:33. Phos is never kindled and therefore never quenched, but luchnos (3088) is kindled by the hands of another. (The Complete Word Study New Testament With Greek Parallel)
So you tell me: what “light” is there in existence today that has no beginning and no end?
“But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Malachi 4:2-3 KJV)
And what’s the Name of this Sun that produces the Light that has no beginning and no end?
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light (G5457) of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light (G5457) of life.” (John 8:12 KJV)
Now that’s a pretty good overview of the “Light”, so what do you say we take a look at the “shine” that He produces:
“In him [Jesus] was life; and the life was the light (G5457) of men. And the light (G5457) shineth (G5316) in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” (John 1:4-5 KJV)
Shine (G5316) [phaino¯] - It indicates how a matter phenomenally shows and presents itself with no necessary assumption of any beholder at all. This suggest that something may shine without anybody necessarily seeing it, contrasted to something that exists but does not shine. Nooumenon is that which is conceived in the mind but does not have any objective existance and does not necessarily manifest itself. Phainomenon is that which manifest itself, appears or shines (phainetai) and must have a reality behind itself. It cannot be just the figment of the imagination. (The Complete Word Study New Testament With Greek Parallel)
So with the “reality and purpose” of the Light in mind, let’s go back to this thing about what it takes to “confesseth” and becoming “one with the Logos”. Because, as I’m sure you remember, the word “logos” is made up of two distinct parts:
1. “the thought inwardly conceived in the mind”
2. “the thought outwardly expressed through the vehicle of language”
And as all this applies to our “three word progression”, it’s the life-changing, life-giving, resurrection “Light” (G5457) of the “Logos” that “shines” (G5316) in the mind of the Christian to “manifest” (G5318) His specific directive for their life. The “thought inwardly conceived in the mind” is that command of God, as spoken by Christ Jesus “The Logos” through the Holy Spirit (Comforter), that, if obeyed, will transform (re-create) the recipient from sinner (sinful flesh) to Saint (born again sons of God).
And now that we’ve got part #1 of “confesseth” down pat, let’s move on to part #2. Because it’s after having heard what the Almighty desires of our life – through the thought (His thought) inwardly conceived in our minds – that we must make Jesus, the Spirit of His Word, “manifest” in us by just doing whatever He’s instructed us to do:
“For God, who commanded the light (G5457) to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest (G5319) in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest (G5319) in our mortal flesh.” (2 Corinthians 4:6-11 KJV)
Manifest (G5319) [phaneroo¯] – To make manifest or visible or known what has been hidden or unknown, to manifest, whether by words, or deeds, or in any other way. (Thayer’s Greek Definition)
So do you remember back on page #8 when we talked about the “hatred, rejection, and persecution” that we can expect whenever we “confesssth” Jesus? Well you see it’s all part of the process of becoming “one with the Logos”: “…we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest (G5319) in our mortal flesh.” Because you see in order to be “born again in Jesus” (Jesus manifested in our flesh) we must first “die in Jesus” by taking step #2 of the “confesseth” process: “the thought outwardly expressed through the vehicle of language”.
“…for I do always those things that please him [God]… But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God...” (John 8:29, 40 KJV)
Are you getting this? Do you now understand why there are so many “Gnostic Christians” in the Church of today? I mean do you understand why there are so many Christians, like Pastor Warmath, who possess this “spirit of antichrist”? Well, just in case you haven’t fully understood what I’ve been saying, the bottom-line reason for Christians rejecting Christ by not “confessing Christ” is due to the fact that becoming “one with Jesus” by “walking in His Light” hurts really-really bad:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light (G5457) is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light (G5457), because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light (G5457), neither cometh to the light (G5457), lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light (G5457), that his deeds may be made manifest (G5319), that they are wrought in God.” (John 3:16-21 KJV)
And having said all that, we can now finalize this thing about “confesseth”. Because, you see, as the previous Scripture points out, if we truly believe in Jesus Christ and His salvation process, we will walk in His Light by doing His commands so that He (The Christ) can be made manifest in our flesh. Jesus Christ “The Logos” becomes “one with us” as we perform, through word or deed, what He has commanded us to do. [But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.] In other words the “Spirit of Truth” will be in us…and our actions will “confess” it!
However, if we as Christians choose to reject the Light of Christ by disobeying God’s Word for our life, the “spirit of error” will be made manifest in our flesh…and our unrighteous (evil) words and deeds will “confess” it! [And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.] And this is that “spirit of antichrist”:
“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denieth (G720) that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth (G720) the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth (G720) the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.” (1 John 2:18-29 KJV)
So…having said all that, what do you say we take a look at the “spirit of error” in Pastor Warmath. I mean, after all, he is the reason for us doing this in-depth study on the “spirit of antichrist”. In fact what I’m about to show you are only two examples of Pastor Warmath’s unrighteous condition. And seeing how “no lie is of The Truth”, the following two lies from Pastor Warmath are more than enough to expose the “antichrist spirit” in him:
Pastor Warmath’s Lie #1: “Which of your sins are forgiven? – Past sins? Future sins? Yes!”
Now was that a lie or was that a lie? Well, let me help you out; That was a lie! So please allow me to explain. You see it wasn’t too long after sending out my email on his “hireling mentality” that the Pastor preached a message on “SIN”. I mean that email must have really pricked his conscience! But anyway, it was during that particular Sunday morning service that he convincingly spoke the “#1 lie” to his faithful followers (the congregation). In fact not only did he kinda-sorta-like confess to an unrevealed sin in his own life, but he also made a blanket statement concerning the “future sins” of all Christians. Because what he said, in so many words, is that the Blood of Jesus cleanses from all sins – past, present, and future. And, of course, as the following Scripture points out, that just ain’t so!
“We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not…If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.” (1 John 5:18; 16 KJV)
You see what this Scripture is saying is that there can come a time in the life of a “Gnostic Christian” when it becomes impossible for the Blood of Jesus to cleanse them from their sin. It’s called “the point of no return”, but it only comes about when a Christian stubbornly and persistently rejects the Light of Christ and continues in their sin. There is no guarantee that future sins will be forgiven:
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin… If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:” (1 John 1:7; 6 KJV)
“For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.” (Hebrews 12:17 KJV)
So are you starting to see how this damnable “antichrist spirit” spreads within Christ’s Church? I mean here we have this Baptist pastor, who rejects the Light for his own life, and then changes the gospel of Jesus Christ to compensate for his own sin. And if that ain’t bad enough already, he then takes this lie and presents it as the Truth to his entire congregation of faithful followers! Unbelievable!!!
But moving on along, what do you say we get down to the root of Pastor Warmath’s sin problem:
Pastor Warmath’s Lie #2: “The apostle and prophet are no more!”
Now, as it concerns the Pastor’s grandiose (great big) lie about “no more apostles and prophets” (the one that brought about lie #1 on “sinning saints”), I really shouldn’t have to prove it to be the lie that it is…but I will:
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ…” (Ephesians 4:11-13 KJV)
You see the reason God Almighty created the 5-fold ministry (which includes the “apostle” and “prophet”) is for the sole purpose of bringing “The Church” into the unity of “One Faith” in the “Saving Knowledge Of Jesus Christ”. And, until that mission has been accomplished, God Almighty will maintain His 5-fold ministry as 5-fold and not 3-fold! In fact the following Scripture makes it abundantly clear that The Church (His Church) has yet to achieve that goal (till we all come in the unity):
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away (G646) first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 KJV)
Falling Away (G646) [apostasia] – Feminine of the same as G647; defection from truth (properly the state), (“apostasy”): - falling away, forsake. (Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Dictionary)
You see the “second coming” of Jesus Christ has yet to occur. That’s a fact! However, as the Scripture points out, Jesus’ return to this earth cannot take place until “The Church” has forsaken the “One Faith” in the “Saving Knowledge Of Jesus Christ” and the “Antichrist proclaims himself to be God”.
Now, without a doubt, the Antichrist has yet to announce that he is God. That’s a fact! However, the Church is well on it’s way in forsaking it’s faith in Jesus Christ. It’s what’s commonly called “apostasy”, and the Church is full of it! In fact from the time that the Church was established on the Day of Pentecost until now, the falling away has been gradually building into it’s avalanche proportion of today.
So I’ve said all that to say this: God’s reason for establishing the apostle and prophet has not been accomplished, and it won’t be accomplished until Jesus comes back to rule and reign in His Kingdom on earth! Amen!!!
And taking this discussion back to Pastor Warmath, he can deny it until the cows come home but the position of “prophet” is not obsolete, the “prophet” is still in existence today, and God Almighty has called him to be one. In fact the following Scripture applies to Pastor Warmath’s prophetic calling in a very real way:
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.” (Jeremiah 1:5-10 KJV)
You see the calling of the prophet is not a glorious one. We (the prophets) have to stick our physical necks out by sticking our spiritual noses in other Christians’ business. I mean we are called to uncover the sins that Christians have tried so hard to keep covered up. In fact if these “sinning saints” don’t repent of their sinful ways, after having been warned, we might even be required to expose their hypocrisy for the whole world to see: Hypocrite! It’s called “rooting out, pulling down, and destroying” everything in the Church that isn’t of God.
The prophet! What a dirty job! What an ugly profession! I mean we are despised, hated, and rejected by the church because of the righteous work that we do for Jesus! The Prophet!
So, do you think that just maybe Pastor Warmath has tried to deny his prophetic calling and hide his prophetic talents in order to protect his image in the church? I mean, could it be?
“And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 25:25-30 KJV)
Well, the answer to my question is YES! In fact I can even go so far as to say that God told me Pastor Warmath has undoubtedly tried to deny his prophetic calling, and hide his prophetic talents, in order to protect his image. And you see the way in which God told me this was through a dream.
You see it was on the 14th of December 2006 that “I had a dream!” And it was in this dream that the Lord showed me a very proud “Pastor Warmth” showing off his flower garden…the one that just so happened to be planted in the front yard of his church (Skyline Baptist). Now the “picture” that I saw was very unusual (and even strange) in that the Pastor’s flower garden had been planted in a gigantic “bucket” that was (for the most part) buried under ground. I mean this “bucket” was enormous, probably 8 foot cubed, and at some time in the past had been attached to an earthmoving machine that we used to call a “steam shovel”. This “bucket” was designed to “shovel” tons of earth in one scoop, but yet Pastor Warmath had it “hidden” in the earth growing daisies. So just what did it all mean?
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” (Mark 11:23 KJV)
Now, have you ever tried to move a mountain of earth by speaking to it? Well you can believe me or not but that’s exactly what the prophet is both “equipped” and “called” to do. Because you see the prophet is a “spokesman for God” who speaks, in God’s Name and by His authority, to the “mountains of corruption” within His Church that hinders souls from being saved. In fact when you get right down to it, the prophet is the mouth by which the “Logos” speaks life-giving “Light” into His Church that has “fallen away” and become “deaf” to the Voice of God.
“As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.” (Luke 3:4-6 KJV)
So do you get the picture? Pastor Warmath is both gifted and called to be a prophet; to root out, to pull down, and to destroy the mountains of corruption within God’s Church! However, it’s because of his fear of “rejection and persecution” from church members that Pastor Warmath has taken his enormous earthmoving “talent” and buried it in the ground in front of the church. I mean talk about a cover up – the Pastor even planted flowers in it!
And having said all that, let’s top it off with Brother William’s email of 8/14/06. Because you see it was after having read my email correspondence to Pastor Warmath that the Lord gave him a Word…as in “thus saith the Lord to Pastor Warmath”:
Thank you for sending me this e-mail. The Lord has kind of brought me into focus on certain issues in my own life that I think the devil succeeds in sidetracking us. Praise God!!
As I was praying this afternoon on these matters at hand, I prayed concerning this pastor [Warmath], and this is what I believe the Lord has spoken to my heart concerning him [the pastor]. There is no specific scripture that I recieved but I believe the Lord wants me to say 'thus'. That He has called pastor Warmath to be a 'voice to the nations', which he must do at all and any cost, even if he offends his church [congregation]. I take that to be that although he might be called to be a pastor and teacher he is called to be a prophet, which we know he has denies still exists. The brother must start praying about this matter and go to God's word concerning Ephesians 4:11--16.
Satan has blinded him to this truth, and the Lord would even take his present position away from him if he continues in this obedience.
Please pray concerning this word before you deal with pastor Warmath.
God bless you both on your mission to pastor Warmath and his wife
Praying for you as always, please pray for me concerning part three of Spiriual High Treason. I can't seem to get focus on it.
Love you all in Jesus as my brothers.
So there you have it: “The Anti-Christ Spirit In Pastor Warmath!” or “A Word Of Correction To Prophet Warmath!” Anyway you want to look at it, we’re here to help the Pastor get back on “the straight and narrow path” and do the work of a prophet that he’s been called to do.
But the question still remains, “Will he receive this message in the Spirit of God by allowing the Light of the Word to shine into his darkness and make him a new man in Christ?”
“Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.” (Hebrews 12:11-13 KJV)
And to kinda like wrap this one up, let me just summarize what’s been said about “confesseth”. The true meaning of “every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God” is realized in the Christian who allows Christ to be manifested in them through their suffering in obedience to His Word: “For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.” Because you see at that point in time Jesus has actually become “one with that Christian” so that whatever is said or done in that capacity is the result of the “Spirit of Jesus” in their flesh producing the work (word or deed) that “confesseth”:
“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” (Colossians 3:17 KJV)
But, then again, taking a look at the flip side of that coin we find the “Gnostic” Christians. You see they profess to know Christ but yet don’t allow Him to be manifested in them through their suffering in obedience to His Word. You might even say that what these Christians “confesseth” is a lot of hot air. I mean, without a doubt, they have a lot of mouth, but no “Christ in them” to back it up! They are spurious – not genuine! Because whatsoever they “confesseth” does not come from the One True Source – Jesus!
So…it should be abundantly obvious by now that a Christian is really not a Christian unless they can “confesseth” that Jesus Christ has come in their flesh. And of course it goes without saying that it just ain’t a gonna happen unless us Christians “keep on keeping the faith in Jesus!”
And just one more thing. The following article entitled “Executive Order 13397 - Church As Governmental Agency” is just one more item of Truth that the Lord wants Prophet Warmath to present to the Church. Amen!
Dad (Bruce Hallman)
- EXECUTIVE ORDER 13397 -
CHURCH AS GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY
July 25, 2006
The separation of church and state - gone with the stroke of a pen. As of March 7, 2006, our nation’s leader signed another Executive Order, which tied the Department of Homeland Security to our leader’s “faith-based” churches. Okay, all you non-profit churches out there – you now serve the federal government’s primary spying agency. That is now your primary function. You are now and officially an organized den of thieves.
I would feel sorry for the pastors, ministers, priests, and rabbis except for the fact that I just can’t and won’t. How stupid and positively corrupt can you possibly be to take money in exchange for manipulating your flocks of idiot sheep to the national slaughter? And will you also spy on your flocks and provide reports to your new master?
In exchange for money, have you agreed to pacify and organize your flocks in the event of a national emergency? You certainly have, for you have been ordered to do so. And have you been ordered to offer your buildings, your resources, and your labor forces called congregations to serve your newly declared administrator?
I try to come up with words to describe how I feel about this Executive Order and the churches that have “partnered” themselves to this system. The words don’t come minus the fact that the church has completely and irreversibly fallen to the lowest and darkest common denominator, which is the total betrayal of the souls of the faithful. I would pray for your forgiveness, but I don’t want to.
Nor do I want to write about this sickening topic. But, I appeal to Christian people to 1) ask your church leaders if they are “faith-based” funded, and 2) to leave those churches and start home-based churches with your friends and family members. Do not support Executive Ordered, Department of Homeland Security churches with your presence or your money. You are being manipulated and reported upon – guaranteed.
You are being told what to do when more “crisis” hits the nation, and will hit the nation, as all is now planned down to our “weather emergencies,” which are providing the training and relocation exercises for the real crisis to come – the one that permanently collapses Constitutional America.
The church needs to regroup and gather in homes, where faith is restored, private, and truth is real. Forget the church leadership. They are padding their pockets and socially re-engineering your mind with think tank religion and crisis management, and they’re getting paid to do so – much like the public schools and mass media.
Raise your churches in your homes. All you need is a Bible – one will do. Save yourselves and your souls and leave your new and improved church buildings, fancy organs, fundraisers, and colorful windows behind.
As in all Communist countries, the church will survive underground, so to speak, and with genuine prayer. And serve your Constitutional America. Don’t give up on freedom – even as it dissolves before your eyes. Be courageous in truth and gather together in truth
Again and again, I strongly recommend that you contact A.C.E. – Americans for Constitutional Enforcement – at firstname.lastname@example.org – and request their Information Packet. Work to preserve your unalienable rights. There is no other choice but to fall – much like the American church. And please remember that faith-based churches are now governmental agencies – just like public schools, mass media, and mass communications – nothing more and nothing less.
A.C.E. will help you, your family, and your neighbors to learn the truth about today’s America. What you don’t know is allowing for the total destruction of your rights and your individual freedom. What you don’t know is rapidly, rapidly destroying your country. Your continued ignorance is why we are falling. Please contact A.C.E. right now. May God bless the American people.
