The following letter-form was brought about as a means of teaching my children the Word of God through the mail. And of course, quite naturally so, that’s the reason I begin these letters with "Dear Children" and end them with "Love Dad". So for the rest of you who participate in these weekly messages, please keep their original intended purpose in mind.

24 July, 2005

Dear Children,

It saddens me greatly that I must finally write this sermonet entitled “The Shepherd Who Scattered The Flock!” (I hate being the “bad guy”!). Because you see the “shepherd” who’s doing the “scattering” – Jose Aguilera – is not only a “Brother in the Lord” and “friend”, but also a “pastor” who’s called-of-God to be a “prophet”. And even though it’s been over a year (4/12/04) since Brother Jose threatened me – “If you write about me I will walk away from the Lord!” – I just pray that he doesn’t do as he promised. I mean, after all, the reason that we’re about to expose a few of his “un-confessed and un-repented sins” is so that he can put them under the Blood of Jesus and start walking with the Lord and not away from Him. In other words God Almighty has given Brother Jose more than enough time to “get it right with the Lord” and “stop scattering the sheep”, but he hasn’t!!! Therefore – “Thus saith the Lord!” – the time has come for the FMHCCI to warn the whole wide world (www) about “Shepherd” Aguilera’s very evil “sheep-herding ways”.

And now that you know where we’re “headed to” with this sermonet, what do you say I give you a few more of the details of just what it took for me (the prophet) to get to the place that I needed to be so that we (the Lord and me) could deliver this message to you. I mean after all, in order for me (in my calling as prophet) to meet Brother Jose, and likewise help him “see” the error of his ways, I had to first “suffer for Jesus” by becoming “homeless for Jesus”. (See sermonet Is God Almighty A Sadist? (4/24/05) for more on suffering.)

Because you see it was on the 28th of March 2003, that the Lord directed me – “homeless” Dad – to the StarLite Apartments in search of a place to lay my head. And unbeknown to me at the time, it was at the StarLite Apartments that I would end up meeting Brother Jose and his wife. But anyway, I was once again “without shelter” after having been told by the Lord to “walk away” from the “widow woman’s place” where He had directed me to “take up residence” on the 22nd of January…that is after having been kicked out of The Christian Home. And of course The Christian Home was where the Lord had directed me to “take up residence” on the 3rd of January after having been kicked out of the Rescue Mission. So do you kind of like get the picture of what this thing about “suffering for Jesus” by becoming “homeless for Jesus” is all about?

Well the picture I’m trying to paint is one that portrays “the life of a prophet”…and it’s not a very pretty picture at that! Because the truth of the matter is that on the 20th of May 2002, after having driven to and from Baton Rouge (LA) in order to deliver the 4th sermonet to the Swaggarts (Is Jimmy Swaggart’s Wife ‘Frances’ Really Uncovered? (5/5/02)), I returned to El Paso Texas only to find my apartment to be “no more”. In fact my new place of residency was to be a “homeless shelter” for “homeless Dad” – the infamous Rescue Mission of El Paso, Texas. (See sermonet Charles Nieman’s ‘Abundant Living Faith’ Is Dead! (7/27/03) for more details.)

So that was “in the beginning” of my homeless journey for Jesus. However, almost eight (8) months later, after having witnessed much corruption within the “Christian” Rescue Mission of El Paso, I was shown the door and ordered to leave. My Christ-like behavior was no longer welcomed in the “Christian” Rescue Mission of El Paso!

From there I was directed by the Lord to move into The Christian Home of El Paso where I was given room and board until the 22nd of January 2003. Because you see it was right about then that The Christian Home director found out about my “prophetic calling” and very promptly, I might add, made the decision to not let me witness his un-Christ-like behavior anymore. I mean after all, most “backslidden Christians” cringe at the thought of having their “dirty laundry” exposed by “the prophets” for the whole wide world to see!

And then came the apartment with the “widow woman”. I thank God for that woman! She provided a place for me to sleep and shower for more than two (2) months, but then again only the Almighty knows how uncomfortable I was in that environment! I mean that woman had issues (lots of them), and I certainly didn’t want to become one of them. In fact I can now understand (just a little bit better anyway) what Joseph must have experienced with Potiphar’s wife (Genesis 39:12). But anyway, Father God insisted that I move in with her and her two children on the 22nd of January, and that’s where I stayed until the 28th of March. Because it was early Friday morning (3:30 a.m. to be exact) that the Lord “woke me up” and told me to “pack it up” and “get it on the move”…and He didn’t even tell me where I would be staying next.

So with only a few bucks to my name, the Lord kept me busy throughout the day witnessing for Jesus at one of El Paso’s finest hospice centers. In fact I had no idea where I’d be spending the night until sometime around 4:30 that afternoon when the Lord directed me to the StarLite Apartments. However, getting into the apartments was not all that easy. Because you see, first of all I had to invite myself to stay with one of the residents; a 375-pound “con artist” who I met during my eight (8) month stay at the Rescue Mission of El Paso.

Now “begging” ain’t one of my strong points! However I must say that I did a pretty good job of it when it just all-of-the-sudden became a prerequisite for me moving in with “Mr. Con”. Because you see before my begging was all said and done “Mr. Con” not only allowed me to spend the night, but he also offered me an extended stay…that is if I could clear it with the apartment manager first. And as the Good Lord would have it, the very next day I not only met with the apartment manager (Brother Jose’s wife), but I also met with and had fellowship with her husband as well (Brother Jose). And you see it was during that very first meeting at the StarLite Apartments that the three of us established a bond in Christ that kept us together until that fateful day – the 17th of August 2003 – when the Lord said it was time for me to leave.

So where do I start? I mean how can I, in a very few words, help you to “see” and “feel” what the Lord allowed me to experience with Brother Jose in that very long but yet very short five (5) month period of time?

Well seeing how this is part V of our sermonet series entitled “Obey God And Live Life, Not Death!”, the best way for me to describe Brother Jose’s spiritual condition is by saying that he has not obeyed God in many, many ways…and therefore in many, many ways “Brother Jose is not living life but death”. In other words Brother Jose is a walking dead man! And it’s through today’s sermonet that the Lord’s going to empower me to show you some of the many deaths that Brother Jose is currently living.

In fact seeing how our last message – Perry Stone And ‘The Meal That Heals’??? (6/12/05) – specifically dealt with the “Truth” of the “Last Supper” and the “lie” of the Roman Catholic “Mass”, why don’t we just continue along with that same train of thought. Because it was during one of Brother Jose’s regular Friday night fellowship services at his apartment (18th of July 2003), that the Lord instructed me to bring “bread and grape juice” to his next meeting in order to celebrate the “Last Supper”.

However, it was right about the time I informed Brother Jose that God wanted us to receive Communion that the “idea” was promptly rejected as being “far too dangerous to even consider”. Because you see not only did Brother Jose not take part in the “Lord’s Supper”, but he wouldn’t let his congregation partake of it either. And the reason for his fearful rejection of this beautiful “symbolic act” of “remembering Jesus’ Divine Sacrifice for our sins” is found in the following Scriptural instructions for Holy Communion:

For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.” (1 Corinthians 11:23-30 KJV)

So go figure! I mean why would a Jesus-professing born-again “Pastor” be afraid of partaking in God’s “symbolic” Holy Communion with Jesus? Well the answer to that one goes back to God’s warning about unworthily “eating and drinking Jesus”…and the indisputable fact that “Pastor” Jose is unworthily “eating and drinking Jesus” each and every day of his life. However, what “Pastor” Jose doesn’t understand about his justifiable fear of “eating and drinking damnation to himself”, and thereby “becoming weak and sickly and maybe even dying”, cannot be resolved by simply refusing to take Holy Communion. Because you see the taking of the “bread and grape juice” is only symbolic of what “Pastor” Jose actually does each and every day of his life that he “professes” Christ as his Lord and Saviour. And likewise, this thing about being “unworthy” actually happens to “Pastor” Jose each and every time that he doesn’t let God have His way!

In fact before we start this process of “uncovering” all the “stuff” that “Pastor” Jose has tried so very hard to keep “covered up” (his very “dirty laundry”), what do you say we do a little refresher course on what Jesus meant about becoming “born again” – “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Because you see it was in our sermonet Life Through The Flesh And Blood Of Jesus! (11/28/04) that the Lord gave us the following very important information concerning this very important subject of “eating and drinking Jesus”:

***********************************

…So just how does a man, woman, boy, or girl become born again? How do we as human beings receive God’s promise of everlasting life by becoming a new creature in Christ? Well it all goes back to our sermonet series entitled How Do You Want Your Fire…Now Or Later? (6/25/00). Because it was in that very long-running series that we really dug down deep into the subject of “the human body and sin!” And what the Lord showed us was not only how sin enters the human’s “spirit/soul/body” at the cellular level, but how God gets it back out through His “water and fire baptism”. In the plain and simple, becoming “born again” is the process of “eating the Flesh of Jesus and drinking His Blood” through a “walk of obedience” to “His Word” as communicated through the Holy Spirit (The Comforter).

And having said that let’s take a closer look at how Jesus described this “born again” process to Nicodemus: “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

So what is this Wind that blows wherever it chooses to blow, and we hear it’s Sound (Voice) but cannot tell from where it comes or where it goes? Well the Wind is the Breath of God, the Holy Spirit (The Comforter), and it comes from the Son of God (Jesus - The Word) Who speaks the Commandments of the Father in Heaven. And this Word from the Father is not a Word that brings about eternal death (the Mosaic law) but a Word that brings about Life everlasting through the Flesh and Blood of Jesus. In fact it’s this same special Word that proceedeth from the Mouth of the Father (His Breath - His Light) that will go into the darkest depths of the human “sin-filled flesh and soul”, literally destroying each and every cell that’s dedicated to serving Satan. And you see once these “evil cells” have been destroyed, they will be reborn (born again) as replacement cells dedicated to serving the Almighty God.

In effect, it’s through obedience to the Father’s special Word (the Wind; His Breath, His Light) that the Believer in Christ Jesus will actually take on the Spirit of Jesus. Because you see it’s these newly created (born again) “cells in Christ” that will make up the “flesh and blood” of the Believer. In other words, it’s these Spirit-filled cells in the Believer that fulfills Jesus’ command to take on (eat) His Flesh and Blood. And it’s right about this point in the process that the “Sabbath” occurs. The evil temple of Satan within the human body has been destroyed, and God’s Holy Temple has been resurrected! And on the seventh day the Believer rest, having completed the work of rebuilding a portion of The Temple.

***********************************

So, once again, in the plain and simple of it, the taking of “Holy Communion” is the “symbolic picture” of what happens in the Believer as he/she “eats the Flesh of Jesus and drinks His Blood” through a “walk of obedience” to “God’s Word” as communicated through the Holy Spirit (The Comforter). In fact we can kinda like firm it all up through the following very short Scripture:

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” (Colossians 3:17 KJV)

And getting back to this thing about “Pastor” Jose’s justifiable fear of “eating and drinking Jesusunworthily, the truth of the matter is that he is doing exactly that – “eating and drinking damnation to himself” – every day that he hears from God and doesn’t obey Him:

I [Jesus] am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.” (John 12:46-48 KJV)

So now that we’ve established the fact that Brother Jose has a whole lot of “disobedience issues” with God, and is likewise a “walking dead man”, what do you say we get to the “issue” that’s the main “reason” for his justifiable fear of unworthily “eating and drinking Jesus”.. Because you see the truth of the matter is that Almighty God never called Brother Jose to be a “pastor”, but He did call him to be a “prophet”! In fact, time and time again, Brother Jose has rejected God’s command to perform as a prophet through “word and deed”, until that day came when God Almighty warned Brother Jose about “eating and drinking Jesus” unworthily…because that’s exactly what he was doing by not performing in his calling of prophet!!!

For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” (Romans 11:29 KJV)

Now after having read that very short verse, do you really think God Almighty’s going to change His mind about Brother Jose being a prophet just because Brother Jose doesn’t want to be a prophet?

Well just in case you, Brother Jose, or anybody else for that matter, might want to believe that God is constantly changing His Mind concerning our “gifts and calling”, the following from Matthew Henry’s Commentary should help clear up any confusion:

Repentance is sometimes taken for a change of mind, and so God never repents, for he is in one mind and who can turn him? Sometimes for a change of way, and that is here understood, intimating the constancy and unchangeableness of that love of God which is founded in election. Those gifts and callings are immutable; whom he so loves, he loves to the end. We find God repenting that he had given man a being (Gen_6:6, It repented the Lord that he had made man), and repenting that he had given a man honour and power (1Sa_15:11, It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king); but…we never find God repenting that he had given a man grace, or effectually called him; those gifts and callings are without repentance.” (Matthew Henry’s Commentary)

Now the important part of what Matthew Henry had to say about God’s “gifts and calling” is found in that very last sentence; “we never find God repenting that he had given a man grace, or effectually called him”. Because by taking a closer look at this word “grace” we can come up with the following very amazing truth concerning God’s “gifts and calling”:

Grace - Appropriately, the free unmerited love and favor of God, the spring and source of all the benefits men receive from him: Favorable influence of God; divine influence or the influence of the spirit, in renewing the heart and restraining from sin.

You see God changes the “evil hearts” of men, women, boys and girls through His “grace”. And likewise, it’s God’s “gifts and callings” for each individual that incorporates God’s “grace” in such a way that the “Love of God” becomes manifest in them when the individual “walks in their calling” and “uses their gifts” as directed by God. In other words “salvation and sanctification” (the influence of the spirit, in renewing the heart and restraining from sin) takes place in the Believer as he or she “exercises” their God-given “gifts and calling”; giving God the glory through the resurrecting power of Jesus.

So just what do you figure happens to Believers like Brother Jose who claim to know Jesus but yet refuse to obey God in all things (eating and drinking Jesus unworthily)? Well the answer to that one can be found in chapter 3 of Peter’s second book. In fact the name that the Father has given these “unworthy eaters and drinkers of Jesus” is none other than “scoffers”:

“This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers (G1703), walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” (2 Peter 3:1-7 KJV)

Scoffers (G1703) [emp-aheek-tace'] - From G1702; a derider, that is, (by implication) a false teacher: - mocker.

So now are you starting to see why Brother Jose was so worried about becoming the topic of our sermonets? I mean I only write what the Father gives me to write…and what He’s telling me to write is the Truth about how “Pastor” Jose has “scoffed at” and “mocked” the resurrecting power of Jesus Christ through his personal un-Christ-like behavior!!!

And now that we’ve laid it all out in black and white, please allow me to add a little color to this snap-shot of “Pastor” Jose. Because in God’s chosen Scripture for Brother Jose (2 Peter 3:1-7) we are given a few of the awesome details of God’s perfect creation after Satan trashed it up in sin – “Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished” – and what God did to restore it. In fact by going back to the beginning of God’s Word – Genesis 1:1 – we can see God’s creation in it’s “perfect state” before sin entered in:

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1 KJV)

That’s what God’s “perfect creation" looked like in the beginning. In fact to help you “see” the depths of that one very short but important verse, what do you say we take a look at what the Dake’s Annotated Reference Bible has to say about that one word “created”:

Create defined – Heb. Bara, to bring into being (Heb. 11:3). Used 7 times in Gen. 1-2. All other places made and make are used, thus proving the 6 days’ work to be mainly reconstructive. In Gen. 1:1 the universe is brought into existence; in Gen. 1:21 sea creatures are created; and in Gen. 1:27 man is created. Thus bara is reserved for the introduction of the 3 great spheres of existence: the world of matter; natural life as in all living creatures; and spiritual life represented by man.”

You see Genesis 1:1 applies to 2 Peter 3:1-7 in that the “original perfect world that God created” is “the world that then was”.

And by going on into Genesis 1:2 we can see the rest of God’s Truth as it relates to 2 Peter 3:6 – “Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.” Because you see once sin “entered in” through Satan (Lucifer), the envelope of air that surrounded God’s “perfect earth” was no more. Water actually flooded the heaven so that earth’s atmosphere became nothing but water and dirt (mud). And of course we all know that God’s “living” creation (plants, birds, fish, and animals) just all of the sudden “die” when there’s no “air” for them to breath:

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” (Genesis 1:2 KJV)

In fact Dake’s Annotated Reference Bible had the following to say about Genesis 1:2 and God’s “perfect world” becoming “not so perfect” after having been trashed up by sin:

Earth made chaos; end of earth’s first perfect state and first sinful career because of Lucifer’s rebellion. Overthrow of ‘the world that then was’ (2 Pet. 3:5-8; Jer. 4:23-26).

Now what we have just uncovered in Genesis 1:1-2 is the fact that God created a perfect “heaven and earth”, and it stayed that way until Satan trashed it up through sin. However, as bad as Satan’s sinful mess might have been, it only took the six (6) days of Genesis 1:3-31 for the Almighty (bless be He) to straighten it all back out.

And after having said all that, let’s get back to the “scoffer” and 2 Peter 3:1-7. Because you see the thing that Brother Jose is “scoffing at” is God’s ability to straighten him out – “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?

You see God’s “re-creation of a world destroyed by sin” was only a “type and shadow” – a promise – of what He was going to do for the human race (men, women, boys and girls) destroyed by sin. In fact now that Jesus has done what was required of Him (He gave His Life for the sins of mankind), there is absolutely no excuse for anyone who claims Christ to be “walking after their own sinful lusts. In other words, the Promise has come and His Name is Jesus:

And that he [Jesus] died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:15-17 KJV)

So getting back to the fact that God say’s “Pastor” Jose has “scoffed at” and “mocked” the resurrecting power of Jesus Christ by refusing to be the “prophet” that God has called him to be, do you really want to know just how un-Christ-like Brother Jose has become as a result of his disobedience?

Well if you really want to know the Truth about Brother Jose, then just keep right on reading. Because the following is just one of many Scriptures that uncovers the evil and out-of-control “sinful lust” in “Pastor” Jose’s heart:

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.” (Galatians 5:16-26 KJV)

Now as we’ve said earlier, it’s only through God’s “grace” that the “evil hearts” of men, women, boys and girls are changed. However, seeing how Brother Jose “scoffed at” the resurrection power of Jesus Christ by rejecting God’s “gifts and calling” for his life, God’s promised re-creation of Brother Jose (Genesis 1:2) just didn’t take place – “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

You see unlike the Genesis account of the re-creation, the Spirit of God could not move on Brother Jose’s “darkness” because he wasn’t willing to receive the Spirit of God through his walk of obedience: “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?

So now that the Lord’s shown us the darkness of “Pastor” Jose’s evil heart – adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, and revellings – let’s see how his “flock” have been directly effected by it.

Because you see it was on the 9th of February 2004 – a little less than one (1) year after having met Brother Jose and almost six (6) months after our separation – that the Lord took us (Yonnie and me) on a mission to “find Jose”. You see God told Yonnie that we needed to be at the Hamburger Hut at 8:00 Monday morning, and, as God would have it, Brother Jose was sitting at the counter when we arrived. In fact before our little meeting was all said and done, the Lord had me to speak the following “Words of warning” into “Pastor” Jose’s life:

Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.” (Jeremiah 23:1-2 KJV)

Now when the Lord tells you that He’s going to “visit upon you the evil of your doings” He really means business! I mean those Words ain’t nothing to be fooling around with!!! In fact in order for me to help you “feel” the urgency of God’s Word to Brother Jose, let’s put it in reverse and see what “evil doings” had taken place only a few days before.

Because when it comes down to this thing about “Brother” Jose being “Pastor” Jose, there’s quite a bit of “stuff” that needs to be said. I mean during Brother Jose’s relatively short career as “pastor”, he has not only started up quite a few churches but he’s also shut the doors on just as many. In fact it was only one day earlier (Sunday, February the 8th) that the Lord had us (Yonnie and me) visit a lovely married couple who just so happened to be his most recent “church-closing victims”.

You see Brother Samuel and Sister Esperanza had been faithful followers of “Pastor” Jose since his early beginnings. And even though he had chased many of his “believing followers” away from Jesus through his un-Christ-like behavior, these two stuck with him through thick and thin. In fact they were so dedicated to “Pastor” Jose that they built a small church (The Ark) in their back yard for him to pastor. And even though the two of them were fully equipped to conduct the church services themselves (Sister Esperanza had the “gifts and calling” to preach, and Brother Samuel had the “gifts and calling” to lead praise and worship), they shut the church doors indefinitely only a few days before our visit. And of course the reason for their drastic action was due to “Pastor” Jose’s final instructions (as he walked away from yet another church) to “Lock the church doors until further notice”.

That’s what really happened! And it was only because of God’s directive for Yonnie and me to attend church service at “The Ark” that we arrived “just in time” to fully experience the “sheep being scattered”. Because what we found at the “scene of the crime” was “Brother Samuel and Sister Esperanza” totally bummed-out over the situation with “Pastor” Jose. I mean the doors to “The Ark” were shut tight, and there were no plans in place to open them back up. It was as if their desire to serve God had been completely sucked out of them!

Now even though this experience had an “overwhelming and sickening” sort of effect on me (I really wanted to throw up), there was one very positive thing that came out of our Sunday morning visit with “Brother Samuel and Sister Esperanza”. Because you see it was during our special time together on that sad Sunday morning that the four of us were able to fellowship, pray, and receive a Word from God. In fact the following “Word” is what Father God gave to Sister Esperanza:

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalms 23:1 KJV)

WOW!!! What a simple little Scripture, but yet such a powerful Word for two very “confused sheep” who had just been scattered by their very “evil shepherd”. Because you see what Jesus was saying to these “two” was that He is their Shepherd and He will supply all of their needs. And even though those special Words carried the Power needed to heal the gaping wounds left by “Pastor” Jose, it would take “Brother Samuel and Sister Esperanza” many days, weeks, months and years to recover.

So putting all of this into perspective; the Lord sent us out to visit two “scattered sheep” on the 8th (Brother Samuel and Sister Esperanza), and then on the 9th He sent us to the Hamburger Hut to give their “evil shepherd” (“Pastor” Jose) the very bad news: “Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them awayI will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD!

Now it goes without saying that those were two more very eventful days! But what followed on the 12th, only three days later, was altogether “something else”. Because you see it was on that morning, somewhere around 8:00, that I found a note from Brother Jose under the windshield wiper of my truck. And the message inscribed on the flowery notepaper was “Meet me at the Hamburger Hut at 10:00 a.m.”.

Well the first thing that came to mind was “How in the world did he find me?” I mean no “person” knew where I was staying except Yonnie! And because of that one fact, I very quickly sent out my next thought in the form of a prayer: “Father God, is it your will that I go to the Hamburger Hut to meet with Brother Jose?”

That was my question to the Lord, and of course I did exactly what He told me to do – I waited! In fact I didn’t have to wait too long! Because it was shortly after 10:00 that Brother Jose knocked on our front door. I mean not only did he find my truck, but he also found the exact apartment in which I was staying. Psychic?!?!

So after having invited him in, what followed was mind boggling to say the least. Because, in rapid succession, Brother Jose listed his “evil acts” that have resulted from his “sinful lust”. I mean he was actually “speaking-out” these horrible things about himself that God Almighty had shown me in “secret”…but he was doing so in such a way as to deny that they ever happened. Well needless to say I staggered from the impact; it caught me completely off guard! But that ain’t all! Because after having unloaded on me, he asked me (with tears flowing down his face I might add) to “forgive and not tell”. And it was right about then that he gave me his ultimatum – “If you write about me I will walk away from the Lord!

What an awesome adventure in the Lord this has been!!! And here we are, almost a year and a-half down the road, having to finally speak-out on the “sinful acts” of “Pastor” Jose that have manifested themselves from the “sinful lust” of “Brother” Jose who didn’t allow the Blood of Jesus to cleanse him through a “walk of obedience” to his “gifts and calling” as “prophet”!

And now that we’ve said all that, let’s continue on in this sermonet by uncovering “one” of the many “sinful acts” in “Pastor” Jose’s life that have resulted from his numerous “sinful lusts”. In fact what better way to do this than through the following Holy Spirit inspired Words from Paul:

And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.” (2 Timothy 2:24-26 and 3:1-9 KJV)

So do you think we’re being “gentle” enough in this process of uncovering Brother Jose’s “sinful lust”? Because you see the one “sinful act” that Satan continually uses to “snare” Brother Jose is found in verse 6 of the preceding Scripture: “For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts”.

You see the way that the Lord gave me this revelation concerning “Pastor Jose and the silly women” was really innocent enough to say the least. Because you see it was on a Sunday afternoon (the 26th of December 2004) that the Lord instructed Yonnie to take me out to eat. And God’s restaurant of choice for our “dining enjoyment” was a plain and simple little Mexican “diner” called “La Playeta” (the beach shore). In fact the meal that we had was really not all that tasty (dining enjoyment?), so my question to the Lord was “Why did you bring us to this place to eat?”

Well that was my question, and it was only two days later that the Lord gave me His answer. Because you see what the Lord showed me was that the female waitress who served our table just so happened to be one of the many “silly women” who “Pastor” Jose has become very intimate with…and I do mean sex!!!

In fact going back to the beginning of my journey with Brother Jose, one of the main reasons Father God put us together – in the Name of Jesus – was so that I could help him get back on God’s “straight and narrow pathway to Heaven”. I mean it was only a few days after having met Brother Jose that he met the Almighty while painting a fence. And it was during that particular “close encounter” with the Lord that Brother Jose was given God’s command to “grow a beard”…and He even made sure that I got all the details (Jose confessed it).

Now for most men, a command from God to grow a beard would be a simple enough task to obey…but not so with Brother Jose. You see it was only shortly after his encounter with the Lord that his real struggle began. I mean Brother Jose’s “lustful flesh” just didn’t want to give up and die. So you see the days turned into a week, and the weeks turned into a month, and Brother Jose just kept right on shaving his beautiful face. In fact with each passing day I became more and more adamant (determined) to help him grow his beard and “get it right with God” through his walk of obedience. I mean please believe me when I say that my preaching on “hear God and obey God” got so very intense that the entire apartment complex got the message…but so did he!

So Brother Jose finally decided to grow a beard, but then again the long growth didn’t last too long. Because you see once the “silly women” couldn’t see his adorable face anymore the beard thing had to go. And of course the reason that Brother Jose did not like the beard was the exact same reason that Father God had command him to grow it:

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” (Galatians 5:16-17 KJV)

What a mess! What a royal mess!! What a stinking royal mess!!!

In fact now that we’ve said all that, we can go back to 2 Peter 3:1-7 and reflect on this thing about “Jose the scoffer”. Because you see what Brother Jose is “scoffing at” is God’s ability to straighten him out – “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming?” And of course seeing how Brother Jose has “a form of godliness but is denying the power thereof” (2 Timothy 3:5 KJV), it’s the top two “sinful acts” produced by his “sinful lust” that continually infect those who trust in him to be their “shepherd”. And seeing how these top two “sinful acts” – adultery and fornication – are at the top of God’s list of “abominable works of the flesh” (Galatians 5:19), it only stands to reason that their effects are extremely “damnable and deadly” to both the “shepherd” and the “flock”:

Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.” (1 Corinthians 6:15-20 KJV)

So does that one sound “damnable and deadly” enough for you? I mean this thing about “forbidden sex” (fornication) is the worst of the worst when it comes to trashing up the human body with sin! In fact to help you understand just how bad “bad” really is, let’s take a microscopic look at verse 18: “Every sin that a man doeth is without the body (G4983); but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body (G4983)”.

Body (G4983) [so¯ma /so'-mah] - From G4982; the body (as a sound whole), used in a very wide application, literally or figuratively: - bodily, body, slave.

Now as it concerns this word “body”, it was in our long running series How Do You Want Your Fire…Now Or Later? that we uncovered some very important facts on the “human body and sin”. Because you see it was in part VI of that series – Naturally Dead Until Spiritually Alive! (10/1/00) – that we described God’s perfect design of the “body soma” (G4983)…as in “how sin gets into it, and what it takes to get it back out”. In fact here’s just a sample of what we had to say:

…it’s that one little old word "body" that was translated from the Greek word "soma" which is actually a very common word in the medical world of today. In fact the human body’s "master computer control" nervous system is actually divided-up into two separate systems. You’ve first of all got the "somatic" system which can be made to do whatever the human wants it to do (voluntary control), and then there’s the "autonomic" system which pretty much does whatever it want’s to do regardless of what the human might think (involuntary control). And to help you understand what this "involuntary control" is all about, God designed the autonomic system to be responsible for doing the repetitious critical functions such as keeping the heart pumping and the lungs breathing. So you see the autonomic nervous system does a whole bunch of very necessary things in our bodies involuntarily, without us ever having to think about doing them…so now that we’ve uncovered the fact that there are two different kinds of nervous systems, let’s get back to the one we’re going to focus on for today. Because it’s through the somatic nervous system of the body (soma) that the human has the ability to decide (voluntary control) what "motion" it’s going to produce next.”

So you see the “body soma” is the “somatic nervous system” of the “human body” that was designed by God to be the “slave” of it’s owner. In other words “we” as “the human” are suppose to be telling “it” what to do…and not visa-versa. However, what we discovered in our very next sermonet – The Water In The Blood! (10/22/00) – was that “we” as “the human” can become “enslaved” to our “body soma” through “sin”. In fact here’s just a sample of what we had to say:

“So what in the world is this "fleshly lust" thing all about? Well I know you’re going to have a hard time believing me, but if you take it on back to the Greek you’ll uncovered the fact that "lust" is "the desire in the human to sin" which results from a well formed path (pathos) in the flesh. And if you do the Greek thing on the word "path" you’ll discover that it means "the results (experience) of a sinful diseased soul." In other words "lust" is the well worn sinful nerve path in our flesh that continues tempting us to use it even though it ain’t the path that God wants us to take. And of course this "lust of the flesh" can either be inherited by the person from their parent or created on their own through the sinful choices of their "spiritually hard of hearing" soul…It’s called a "lifestyle", and it’s nothing but a nerve path of sin…”

Now after having said that, let’s get back to Brother Jose and his “fleshly lust”: “Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.” Because you see the process of forming a “pathway of sin” in the human “body soma” normally takes an extended period of time. In other words the “sinner” has to repeat the “sin” a number of times before becoming “enslaved” to it. However, when it comes to the “sin of sex” (fornication/adultery) the “pathway of sin” is established immediatelyas in instantaneously!!! And this is exactly what Brother Jose has done!

But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.” (Proverbs 6:32 KJV)

Now we won’t go into all the nitty-gritty details just yet, but we will go so far as to say that each time “Pastor” Jose commits the “damnable and deadly” sinful act of “fornication/adultery” he “instantaneously” establishes the “pathway of sin” in himself and in his “sex partner”. In fact as it concerns the human “body soma”, the “pathway of sin” is established in “both participants” regardless of their sex (male or female) or the circumstances in which it takes place…which even includes the forced act of fornication…which even includes children (molestation). So as it concerns “the shepherd who scattered the sheep”, it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out the rest.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness…Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened….Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who…burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” (Romans 1:16-32 KJV)

And just to show you how far-reaching “Pastor” Jose’s “sinful lust” has been, let’s talk about his wife Delores. You see Sister Delores is also called of God to be a prophet, but the “rebuke and scorn” she receives from her husband each and every time she “performs” in her prophetic calling has held her back in her walk. And likewise, it’s the “lack of obedience” in her walk in combination with her “sexual involvement” with the “Pastor” that has brought about some very serious health issues. Because you see it’s only by the grace of God that her “high blood pressure” (200+) hasn’t killed her yet.

So now that we’ve said all that, please allow me to extend to you a word of caution. We all have a “calling”, and we all have “gifts”. And it’s God’s “gifts and calling” of “the prophet” that no one in their right mind would willingly choose to walk in! However, as it should be perfectly clear by now, God ain’t going to change his mind!!! And seeing how Brother Jose has made such a disaster out of his life and everyone he’s tried to “pastor”, his terrible example should be a good enough example of “what not to do” when it comes to answering the call of “prophet”. In other words, don’t try to be somebody you ain’t called to be…and this even applies to “Johnny D.” in Houston, Texas!!! (See Johnny Davis, Sr: The Big Pretender for more.)

Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.” (1 Corinthians 6:13 KJV)

Don’t make a royal stinking mess of your life! Allow the “Spirit of God” to “move on” your “muddy waters” through your “walk of obedience” to His “gifts and calling” for your life. In other words, “Keep on keeping the faith in Jesus!!!
