Falling Stars Falling Stars!

The message you are reading was 9 months in the making. As one of the FMH Children's Club International prophets, the Lord Jesus Christ has commissioned and anointed me to serve as an aid in convicting and rescuing a Brother in Christ who has lost his way. "Johnny D" : Wayward prophet : "Awake to righteousness" - Isaiah 52:1 (KJV)!

"But what think ye? A certain man had two son; and came to the first, and said, Son go work to day in my vineyard. He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Whither of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto [H]im, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him [and obey the Master of the Universe, Jesus Christ] - Matthew 21:28-31(32, KJV).

Alan and Johnny
Alan and Johnny

This passage of scripture reveals the hypocrisy of the "unbelieving" and hard-hearted Pharisees who were more interested in their position than in allowing Christ to sit on the throne of their hearts. People pretending to be of God. Johnny continually confesses that he "must be about the Father's business" - yet he does not continue in the will of the Father. He is about promoting Johnny's business. And that what makes him feel good and attain a favorable and admirable place among men.

"There are those who say "Yes" to God - but they do not do His will. "Well hath Esaias (Isaiah) prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from [M]e" - Mark 7:6 (KJV).

Greetings, Brethren. I find myself today witnessing a dynamic truth that is contained in the Bible functioning in the lives of two modern day prophets: Myself, and Johnny Davis, Sr: "Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him, Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins." - James 5:19-20 - The word of God is the "two-edged sword" where the sinning Brother - the person the LORD has us to address - is "converted from the error of his way..." (vs. 19). And also the believer - who delivers the word - "shall hide a multitude of sins", killing off "sinful flesh", and the word acted upon is causes him to take on the life-giving Spirit, restoring the righteous paths within him (vs. 20).

I met Brother Johnny early in 2004, at the church I was a member of for years, which hosted a prayer breakfast on a Saturday morning. Johnny expressed a desire to minister to me since he could see that I was using a wheelchair, and he required the use of a wheelchair for nearly 2 years, having suffered a fall in a grocery store, that resulted in a back injury. I suffered a serious spinal cord injury that resulted from a motorcycle accident, 20 years ago. My medical condition is called paraplegia, which means I have limited or no use of two limbs (I have not been able to use my legs voluntarily since I sustained the injury in 1985).

The Lord Jesus Christ placed Brother Johnny on my heart on the 1st of June, 2004. I used the phone number he had given me, and we new that it was a Divine connection. As I have mentioned, Johnny was especially drawn to me upon first meeting me, because he required the use of a wheelchair for many month's time. Johnny confessed to me that the LORD instructed him to break away from his former prayer partner, which he did about a year later (the last day or two of May, 2004). I desired to take part in a "School of the Spirit" service the night of June 1, but God had other plans - for He prompted me to call Brother Johnny, so that we could begin working and fellowshipping and encouraging each other in our common calling.

On 6/29/04 (the end of the month that the LORD put Johnny and I together for ministry) I made a vow to the LORD to preach and publish the Gospel (Word) of Jesus Christ at all costs. And the article you are reading now is part of what I am called to do and must do - to rescue souls through the Spirit and Word of the LORD. Amen.

The prophets speak the word. If the word is rejected - the LORD may have it published in writing to the rebelling child of God who rejects the word of God - as well as the Christian public. He has called the FMHCCI ministry to do this, and to do it quite often. There are many who are called of God, but who chose NOT to hear the words of God for there ever-living lives: "For many are called, but few are chosen..." - Matthew 22:14 (KJV).

When a prophet like myself is instructed to write a message like this one, it is not a joyful occasion. It is a solemn moment, because the beloved child of God has fallen into sin (disobedience) to such a degree that God warrants special measures in order to get the attention of the unrepentant sinner, in having them dealt with in an extreme manner, and this particular writing is one of them. So God is having to deal with "Brother" Johnny in this way, now. And the writing and publishing of this message is part of what God is having to do and allow to bring Johnny back into line with His will for our Brother's life.

The following is an excerpt from an article written by the late Brother Smith Wigglesworth, and it strikes at the heart of this message, concerning ministry:

"...If you seek to save yourself, it is an offence to God [Matthew 10:38; Luke 12:8, Mark 8:34-35]. God has been impressing on me more and more that if at any time I were to seek man's favor or earthly power, I would lose favor with God and could not have faith. Jesus asked, "How can you believe [if you] receive honor [praise] from one another? (John 5:44,12:43)

"For it became him, for whom are all things, and by who are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, Saying I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee, and again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me" - Hebrews 2:10-13 (KJV):

Johnny and I are called of God to walk and work together in ministry. It is ordained of God, so that he and I may be strengthened and encouraged in the very difficult calling that God has placed before us - to partner with the Lord Jesus. "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution" - 2 Timothy 3:12 (KJV).

The LORD spoke a word to me to give to Johnny on March 9 (3/9) of 2005. The word was "Vainglory". I dialed Johnny's phone number and left the word for him by way of answering machine, the following week. I did not know the definition of the word when the LORD gave it to me.

"Vainglory" means glorying in the flesh - a selfish pride, or satisfaction (the basis for all sin: pride and selfish ambition): self. And as it applies to your life, it speaks not only to rejecting a word or commandment from God - also reveals the tendency to compete with the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

I called Johnny after I did spoke "vainglory" to him as a message. I did not hear from him for about a month. The next time I called him, he answered the phone, and then confessed to me that he did not like the "comment" that I made (the word spoken by God: "vainglory"), and was waiting for the time to speak to me, when he could do so without becoming upset. So according to Johnny's confession, it took at least four weeks in order for him to cool down from a single word, "vainglory", that was given to him from a Brother that cares enough to do it in obedience. That was surely one more powerful word, indeed! It was a designed to strike a nerve in Johnny - the "two-edged sword" - the instrument which exposed latent flesh and the sinful nature in him. But did he receive it as a word from God, and choose the right way - repentance? No. He chose instead to reject the word of God, and he has continued to do so, until this present time.

Johnny has not offered up a repentant heart to God. Rather, he runs and hides, holding to the deceived thinking that he can outrun the word of God. Brothers and Sisters, we can run, but we can't hide. God has an all-seeing eye, and we deceive ourselves by trying to fool the Almighty. It is a fool who thinks that he can "box with God" and come out on top. God is the One with the "Everlasting Arms", Who has been so merciful as to provide the avenue for the salvation of all mankind: The Blood of His only Son, Jesus Christ, who is the Word of God.

Man is deceived when he thinks he can find or work HIS OWN way to salvation. It is a daily walk of obedience to the Spirit of God (Philippians 2:12). As for Johnny, he chooses to dodge his issues and run from the truth, instead of being real and dealing with the demons in his life, which he knows that he needs to do. As they say, "When the going gets tough..." the carnal and the compromising (like Brother Johnny) run and hide!

And speaking of those that continue to live a life of compromise, Johnny received a word directly from the LORD that he shared me: "Take the 'com' of 'compromise' and you have [receive] the 'promise'." God was speaking to Johnny - instructing him to turn from his compromising ways - so that he and those he's called to help can live and be saved. It is not God's will that man fall, or that he perish - but that he and all others come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). n, Johnny must know that God is just looking for His children to trust Him. Oh, little children, let the LORD have His way! Let us allow not continue in carnality, but allow God be sovereign in our lives. Let's let God be God. And when God reigns, we all (in the Church) win.

Johnny does not only reject the word and commandment of God, but he also has a tendency compete with God during church services, where the Holy Spirit desires to minister to His people. Johnny Davis attends worship services where he engages in activity that is done and results in him receiving the attention. What the LORD gave me after attending service with Johnny after a few weeks' time was three (3) types of activity that He grouped under the heading "To Be Seen". It is evident in the behavior I have noticed during church services.

Three (3) of Brother Johnny's acts in order "To Be Seen": 1) Greeting church attendees after they have taken their seats and worship has begun 2) Exuberant praise during intimate worship 3) Talking during the minister's message - yet Johnny claims to desire "integrity" in the church he serves with - done "in order"...

I witnessed Johnny exhibiting all three (3) of these behaviors, each on more than one (1) occasion. And the LORD put them together under a single heading nearly 1 year ago, which is "To Be Seen". I called Johnny to confess that I had not shared this with him, as I sensed the LORD would have me to, if Johnny would have driven me to the bus station, following my last visit to Houston. So I shared this with him, as I was prompted to, last September.

The first play of Johnny "To Be Seen" (#1 - Greeting saints after they've been seated and worship has begun): Johnny greeted me at a prayer breakfast that we both attended last year, and when he approached me after the worship (song) service had begun, he said that the Holy Spirit told him to greet me. This concerns me, because the Holy Spirit is not confused. He does not interrupt Himself when He is leading worship, by sending one of His children to pull another out of (distract from) a blessed time of worship. I observed Johnny repeating this behavior at a Spanish church in El Paso also.

The second play of Johnny "To Be Seen" (#2 - Exuberant praise during intimate worship): During moments of beautiful worship at church service, I have experienced Johnny praying (worshipping) loudly, in tongues, and uttering forth exuberant ("spirited") praises in the name of Jesus. I am blessed by this, when it is done in the Spirit. But when an utterance goes against the grain of what the Spirit is leading a congregation in (where a saint's behavior sticks out like the proverbial "sore thumb" – as it reverberates of the flesh), in drawing the attention of those assembled to worship God, away from Hom, and to the person engaging in the behavior. This is particularly grievous for me, for I know that some individuals have waited for a week, and sometimes more, to worship God corporately, in the beauty of His holy presence. When that fellowship of the Spirit is abruptly broken by the selfish behavior of another, it is nearly impossible to regain the same attitude of worship, in my experience.

The third play of Johnny "To Be Seen" (#3 - Talking to his "neighbor" during the minister's message): Johnny likes to fellowship, which is evident to anyone who knows him. And we all need the fellowship of the Brethren. It is common courtesy - I think most will agree - to keep conversation to a bare minimum during the preaching of the Word of God: the most important time of the church service, when God's children receive the "breaking" of the Bread of Life from their pastor or anointed speaker for that part of their week. Unnecessary talking during this or any portion of the services hinders the order of God and the flow and work of the Spirit in the lives of the other saints.

In his altar ministry, Johnny has mentioned (and given the exact number) those who were "slain in the Spirit" (fell down) during his altar ministry. From the reports you have given me, it is evident that you place great significance upon this manifestation/demonstration. It is something to be seen. It places Johnny Davis in the forefront, again. But I haven't heard Johnny speak of what is being done for the people being prayed for - what they are receiving from God. Johnny is receiving attention and validation he and the rest of us long for. You shared with me that on your walk one afternoon, the LORD spoke to you, saying, "Don't look to the "NATURAL" eye…" These may not be done in a conscious matter. If this is so - or otherwise - the LORD has seen fit to address this - not for the purpose of condemnation - but to bring you and I "up higher".

More evidence of Johnny interjecting his will and his flesh during altar ministry is shouting "Touch!" into the ear of the person being prayed for. And against people's foreheads during "anointed" prayer and pushing the person receiving prayer off balance (even as I sat in my wheelchair). Johnny demonstrates a "fleshly" ministry, and not the type which God desires due to the things that continue to "run wild" in his life, because he's not willing to follow God's plan and path for his life that he would see the growth and the changes that are required by God in the life and ministry of every Christian.

Johnny has confessed to me that he was told by a pastor that he (Johnny) "gives his testimony too much". During the year 2004, I have heard Johnny give testimony of his personal background (that preceded the revelation of Jesus Christ in his life) that he "is not proud of", at all 3 of the churches that he and I both had an affiliation with). When Johnny or any of us that claim Christ are led of the Spirit when we share a word and possibly a testimony in edifying the Body of Christ (local church), we shall bless the congregation, and not hinder it with "selfish ambition" (to be seen) and a "fleshly" display.

Johnny was also very forthcoming in his confession of his preferred ministry of "Doing what I want to do" (then he quickly changed the "slip of his tongue" with "What God wants me to do). At the same sitting he declared that he had both the provision and the inclination for an altar ministry in which he confessed, "I can run wild..."

But the most candid with his graphic remarks that Johnny made that night in November of 2004, was that of a preferred sex act that he is inclined to perform on ladies that he has been with: "I like to ___ my women..." As he spoke of this, he continued to turn around and both look and lust after a particular single mother that serves at that church who is just half his age. With all of his back and forth gyrations, I was tempted to say, "Why don't you just turn your chair in her direction, and you can stare at her freely and unencumbered.

Johnny's lustful approach toward young ladies in the church is due to sin (disobedience) and rejecting the call of God on his life, which frustrates the grace of God, and results in the error and perverseness that dwells in him.

Johnny's endeavors to "Run wild", "Do what I want to do", and "___ my women", reveals Johnny's carnal nature. By the hearing of Johnny's own words, we can see that he has become comfortable and unashamed of the unchecked carnality that is operating in his life.

No doubt Johnny has been known to be a "beast" by his ex-wife. In the form of combativeness and pronounced aggression, that is. He "beasted" (boasted) about a conversation with a young lady that he said threatened to get aggressive with him. Yet he declared she had no advantage over him, in his ability to get aggressive [nasty over the phone]. His ex-wife surely knows this all too well, too! Johnny is having trouble with relationships at least in part because he has not been willing to be transformed through a walk of total obedience to God. The "beast" in Johnny comes out in angry outbursts and even has him hang up the phone when convicted of his sin, for he prefers not to deal with the issues that continue to hold him in bondage to the flesh. And the fleshly (poor) choices that he has made is what has kept him from answering his call to ministry and fulfilling the will of God for his life.

The error in Johnny's life enters through disobedience, as it does in the life of any of us who walk in disobedience.

IN THE GARDEN (The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil)

God is in control (of our lives) as long as we choose to allow Him to be the master of our lives. As we seek the will of the LORD will sincerity of heart, the Holy Spirit makes it clear to us the way we should go. Just as Adam CHOSE to sin (disobey) in the Garden of Eden after Satan convinced Eve that God was holding back some good thing from them. She sinned (disobeyed God) by continuing to entertain (listen to) the lie that the devil placed before her. Eve was seduced by the lie of the devil as she chose (made the decision) to listen to his lie that God was not the benevolent God that He was and is and shall always be. She began to agree with the lie put before her, that they could be "as gods". God endowed Eve with life and with a will - and she exercised that freewill in disobeying the command that God had given to her and her husband, Adam. She then offered the fruit to her husband, Adam, and he ate. Adam chose to obey his flesh rather than to obey God. Sin must be repented of (turned from) in order to restore fellowship with the Father.

"In all this, Job did not charge God foolishly" - Job 1:21. Johnny Davis has been seduced into believing the lie that God put "evil" inside of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Not that the tree contained knowledge of good and evil, but the "evil" was a trap lurking there waiting to devour its first would-be victim. This is not a picture of a benevolent and loving God. The Bible says that He will not give us a stone when we ask for bread. Or a serpent when we ask for a fish. Or a scorpion when we ask for an egg (For more on the 2 kinds of "temptation" - see: "Tribulation Horror Show"). But Adam and Eve had no knowledge of sin ("evil" disobedience), before they made the conscious choice to go outside of God's benevolent will for their lives. Because they had no knowledge of sin, they had to create a new pathway in order to do their will (to disobey God), instead of obeying God's will. "CHOOSE LIFE", He says. We do this by obeying the voice of God. If we had not known which way to go, God even makes it clear which choice to make: "Choose LIFE! Hearken to the voice of the Bridegroom. Choose God's perfect will for your life (we can only yield to Him to the extent that we trust Him).

So the pathways of sin are the result of conscious and willful disobedience to God the Father. When we choose to believe the lie that God is not a benevolent and loving Father, but places temptation in our way for a kind of perverted pleasure - as Brother Johnny has - then there is little reason to serve a master that would plant evil into the pathway of man. The purpose for the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was for man to be tested. The Bible declares, "If you love [M]e, keep my commandments" - John 14:15 (KJV). We obey the commandments of God because we love Him. When we disobey Him (which is sin), it shows we have not been perfected in love. The way for us to be progressively cleansed and transformed into His image is to walk in His every word that He speaks to our hearts. The Apostle Paul wrote it this way: "Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh" - Galatians 5:16 (KJV).

"This shall be the priest's due from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep; they shall give unto the priests the shoulder, the two cheeks, and the maw" - Deuteronomy 18:3 (KJV). God commanded this as the sin offering. These were the parts of the body used to sin in the garden of Eden: The shoulder (used to pull the apple from the Tree), the two cheeks (used to chew the forbidden fruit), and the maw (the stomach - used to digest what both Adam and Eve had eaten). SIN is a CHOICE. And our sinful disobedience can have devastating consequences. In the Garden of Eden, it caused the fall of all mankind. Requiring the precious Blood of Jesus (The sacrifice of the Son) in order to redeem us, so that now the Holy Spirit can come into us and lead us in the way we should go. And when we continue to allow Him to be Lord in our lives, we are progressively being cleansed and "sinful flesh" is being transformed into the Spirit of God. Praise God. Since it took the Blood of Jesus for us to hear the voice of God through the Holy Spirit, when we choose to reject God's will and God's word for our lives, we trample the Blood of Jesus under our feet.

When and if we choose to believe the lie that God is at fault for Adam's sin and our sin, we agree with the devil's deception. Though one may choose to believe that false entrance of sin into our lives is a fact, we are without excuse when God has given us a conscience and a regenerated heart to hear His voice and know His will. We are without excuse when we choose to continue in our sin.

"As many as desire to make a fair shew (good showing) in the flesh, they constrain (compel) you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross [cause] of Christ [be transformed into His image through suffering]. For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh [vainglory]..." - Galatians 6:12-13 (KJV).

Johnny puts on a "good showing" (6:12-13) before men - but he chooses not to honor God in all things (he is commanded to do). He has the scriptures to make himself look good. But quoting dead scriptures (with the quickening of the Holy Spirit) and doing "good works" is a poor substitute for obeying the voice of the LORD our God. "Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken that the fat of rams ... Because you have rejected the word of the LORD - [H]e has rejected thee..." - 1 Samuel 15:22 (KJV).

"If I had run, or run in vain..." - Galatians 2:4 (KJV). In this passage of scripture, the Apostle Paul refers to running in "vain". It is the Greek word "KENOS", which means: "Empty, indicating the hollowness of something or somebody. A sense of vanity or aimlessness. In Thessalonians 1, it means accompanied by the demonstration of the Spirit and power. When used not of things but of persons, it predicates not merely an absence and emptiness of good, but (since the moral nature of man endures no vacuum) it indicates the presence of evil [sinful flesh manifesting during church services]."

"My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you" - Galatians 4:19 (KJV). And this is done progressively, through our walk of obedience, in the Spirit, as He leads and guides us through His living Word to our hearts:

The following is an excerpt from a letter that I wrote to a friend on the 10th Anniversary of the LORD's call on my live to the prophetic office (5/12/05), in which I wrote on the subject that I began to call "Sin And Sanctification". I wrote as the Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance what He has been giving the FMHCCI (Children's Club) Ministry on the subject. May the Body of Christ hearken unto (live through by obeying) the words of the Master: "Greater love hath no man than this, than to lay down his life for his friends" - John 15:13 (KJV).

"Ye are [M]y friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you" - John 15:14 (KJV). This truth is woven throughout the "sermonets" on the Children’s Club International website, and is referred to as "The Human Body And Sin", and "How Do You Want Your Fire...Now Or Later?" This process of processing the word that God speaks to us and "metabolizing" it results in "sinful flesh" becoming Christ in us. It is referred to in the Bible as "sanctification". One of the verses that reveals the "two-edged sword" is James 5:19-20, where a Brother ("sinner" - the person the LORD has us to address - is "converted from the error of his way..." (vs. 19). And also the believer - who delivers the word - "shall hide a multitude of sins", killing off "sinful flesh", and restoration the righteous paths within us. This process is referred to in the scripture that was used as the theme of a message by Rod Parsley, that you sent me a copy of, years ago, entitled, "Repairers Of The Breach": "And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places [sinful pathways]: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in" - Isaiah 58:12-13 (KJV). Another example is found three chapters later, the message is repeated: "And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities [become "trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD"] - Isaiah 61:4; Isaiah 61:3, and as we receive His word as Spirit, and it becomes "manifested truth" in us as we walk in it - obey it ["walk in the Spirit" - Galatians 5:16], the "desolations of many generations" [sins of generations past] we will be changed into righteous pathways - transforming us through our Holy Spirit walk into "Repairers of the Breach": The "trees of righteousness", to deliver others to salvation.

The scriptures the LORD gave me for the back of my (Brother Alan's) ministry card also point to our walk of obedience: 1) We "WALK by [work out our salvation] by faith..." - 2 Corithians 5:7 2) We LIVE by processing God's word within us, as we hear it and obey it - Matthew 4:4) and 3) We "KNOW Him..." and His "resurrection [salvation] power" through our "sufferings" - Philippians 3:10 (see the sermonet, "You've Asked A Hard Thing LORD!" - the "#19" - at www.fmh-child.org).

Excerpt from "HE CAME TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE" by Rebecca Brown:

Our entire life and being used to belong to Satan. Now that we as "believers" have given his life to Jesus, we are totally His. Rebecca Brown, M.D., describes this transfer of servitude (ownership) in vivid detail, in the following excerpt from her book, "He Came To Set The Captives Free":

"You can have salvation but only on one condition; that you are totally sold [out] to Christ, you don't have any personal rights, you no longer belong to yourself, you no longer have any right to anything. You will become a servant [Philippians 3:10; Revelation 12:11]. You are in essence signing your own death warrant because Satan will hate you and try to kill you. You are gaining eternal life and citizenship in heaven. You give up your life here on earth to gain life in heaven..."

The sermonet I sent you which is entitled "You've Asked A Hard Thing, LORD!" relates things Bruce has had to face on his personal journey (devotional) for and from God - and gives a picture of losses incurred in his life, as ordained by God: Are we willing to lose everything, for the glory and purpose of God - is He really our God?

Johnny is called to be a prophetic voice at Jesus Is The Answer church in Houston, Texas (in Spanish, JesuChristo Es La Respuesta, or "J.E.L.R."). To be used in the service of the LORD to point out problem areas that the God of heaven wants addressed, to give His people an opportunity to be changed, and to be further transformed into His image, and help others to get there as they continue on the "King's Highway" (Johnny would and will be changed as he exercises this ministry).

"God speaks through me", said Johnny, yet he chooses not to speak every word that God gives him - especially to pastors that need what he is given to say. Johnny claims that he "doesn't follow man" but that he follows the LORD. Yet he does NOT follow the LORD. He rather follows the desires of his sinful desires (his "flesh") rather than obeying the commands the Lord Jesus Christ speaks to him. He chooses to gratify self, while deceiving others into believing he is a man of God. Johnny has refused to answer his call to ministry, therefore his present so-called ministry is a sham and a lie, exercised to gratify and promote self.

Johnny will obey the voice and prompting of God when and if it appeals to him, when it will give him a favorable appearance toward man [Striving with (competing against) and 'prostituting the Holy Ghost'].

Johnny left "J.E.L.R." and has not told me that he went to "make amends", or confront them on what troubled him - done what the LORD really told him to do (Christians can make God a liar, when we abort His plan through disobedience).

Johnny is a very self-absorbed person, concerned with his own drives and desires (a hypocrite that gives "lip service" to God and man). When he was convinced that his childhood friend Sam was cheated out of an offering that he was promised, he did not stand up and protest for the wrong that he perceived was done to his friend - instead, he left that particular church to which he had been closely associated with, and ministered to (of which he said God used me to lead him to).

Johnny failed to fulfill his time at J.E.L.R. - left through the "back door". He refused to do what he was convicted to do which was to confront the leadership of the church about what he perceived to be a breakdown in fulfilling a promised that was made to a long time friend of his, as he related it to me. After Johnny shared this with me, he added that God told him to give the church key he was entrusted with to the sound man of that church. Shortly after this, the LORD had me to write Brother Johnny about his early departure from J.E.L.R., for Johnny left the church of his own accord and not of the Lord. Running from the problem (or a perceived problem) does not make it go away. God placed Johnny in that church for a reason, and that is to address error (sin and disobedience) in the church, as he receives instructions and messages from God. This is what a prophet is required to do. We must do the work that God has placed before us, whether we like or not. Whether others like it or not. We are not here to please men, but to please Him - that is "our blessed hope" - the Almighty God.

Johnny said that the LORD told him to give the key to the man that runs the soundboard for the church. Afterwards he was convicted during phone call that we had - and following - I wrote him a letter about the leaders of the church must have felt, and wondered, asking, "What happened to Johnny?" [for he has disappeared without a single word of explanation].

Johnny received the last word (letter) I sent to him wholeheartedly, with the additional conviction of seeing the builder of the church at the corner of his street block that he lives on. Yet he cannot obey God's directive and speak God's work when he is not at the post that God assigned him to. He has a tendency to strike out in anger, and run away from the situation, instead of dealing with the sometimes uncomfortable issues at hand. But "strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, that leads to life, and few there be that find it" (Matthew 7:13, KJV). God's way is the "strait and narrow" path that He has designed for us to walk in. And this is the walk with the Almighty Creator that is going to "root out" the sin that has remained in us. Obedience is the key to salvation (Hebrews 5:8-9).

He then decided to give his pastor's father a call. How does GOD feel about being disobeyed and used? About a MINISTER giving the PRETENCE of hearing from God, and speaking for God - when God has NOT spoken? "But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die" - Deuteronomy 18:20 (KJV).

The LORD put a young prophet who resided in Houston on my mind to minister to a Spanish congregation, that I was attending that month. While in conversation with Johnny, he offered to called a dear couple and ask for the phone number of the young prophet who I was to speak with. So Johnny spoke with them, but they were not able to help us to get in touch with the young prophet. After that the prophet's grandfather came to my mind, for he would surely be able to help me get in touch with our brother.

I chose to postpone speaking with my pastor, until we could speak in person. And God used this situation to expose sin in Brother Johnny's life, in this way:

My former pastor was under the conviction that I must have a pastor when I left his congregation. While seeking to reach a young prophet who the LORD had spoken to me to introduce to a local pastor in El Paso (during my first month in El Paso), I mentioned my failure to inform the pastor that bought Johnny and I with him to El Paso for the mission trip in November of 2004, that it may be the LORD's timing for me to move (remain) in El Paso at the end of the 3-day mission. My statement, "...And that wasn't right", struck a nerve in Johnny such that he told me to get someone else to help me get the phone number that he had offered to help me get. I replied, If that is the way you feel..." Johnny said, "That's the way I feel." And he hung up the phone. I had inadvertently convicted Johnny of his sin (disobedience) of leaving the church he held a leadership position, before God moved him. And he responded in a strong, abrupt, and fleshly way.

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou came forth our to the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations (people groups). Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child" for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Then the LORD put forth is hand, and touched my mouth, And said the LORD said unto me, I have put [M]y words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build and to plant." - Jeremiah 1:5-10 (KJV). Johnny and I share the same calling. In fact, one afternoon we were having a conversation on the phone when I had returned to Houston for a week-long visit last year, and Johnny said, "I don't think you're called to El Paso". I quickly replied, "I know I am" (I had been convicted of the LORD that I was to move to El Paso 18 months prior to the commitment I made to remain at the FMH Children's Club ministry base, here). Johnny agreed, with an "Okay". He could have made a case for him not belonging in El Paso - as we are Brothers called to walk together - if he could get me to deny my own prophetic calling. Johnny and I are called to deliver the words of God that we are given, and directed to preach, publish, and proclaim, as God directs.

Yet presently Johnny has been prostituting the Holy Spirit for HIS OWN convenience - deceiving others and making a show before men and rejecting the wooing of the Spirit of God when He convicts you of sin, as in avoiding the leadership at J.E.L.R. church and leaving his leadership position and avoiding the issues by slipping out "the back door".

"We have prostituted God's anointing [used it for our own selfish purposes] too many times. We prepare for Him and we soak in His precious, sweet-smelling anointing, but then all we do is parade it around for man! We end up flirting on the way to the chamber of the King and never make it, seduced by other, lower [fleshly] lovers [pursuits]. We need to remember that our King is not going to have "soiled goods". Only the gins are fit to go in to the King. I'm saying that we prostitute the anointing in the sense that we say, "That was good preaching!" or "That song was really good!" and we give man the glory and the attention (Or we seek man's glory and attention). We seek to please man (the flesh). Even our services are structured to please man. The anointing really does do a lot of wonder things in our lives, and it breaks the yoke of oppression. But that is only a by-product. It is much like when I splash cologne on for my wife. The by-product is that I smell good to everyone. But the purpose of the perfume was for her, not them! The problem comes when we use it to impress and flirt with another, overlooking the primary purpose of the anointing which is to camouflage the stench of our own flesh." - Tommy Tenny's GODCHASERS, chapter 3, page 42.

God is not pleased when His servants and leaders make merchandise out of the Blood of His Son, His Name, and His Anointing, that has been freely given, that all men have the opportunity to receive a saving knowledge of Him.

On 3/1/05, Prophet Bruce Hallman sent me the following e-mail entitled "Wagon Train":

"When I was talking with Kathy (Bruce's girlfriend in South Carolina) today she asked about you. After I explained your circumstances she asked if you had any friends in Houston. I told her "yes" and she followed it up by saying that you need to rent a U-Haul truck and have your friend move you to El Paso and then take a bus back to Houston. Your "friend" is Johnny Davis. Follow this plan completely [Johnny]. Thus saith the LORD!!!

Now Kathy spoke to 'us' about renting a U-Haul truck to complete my move to El Paso. Johnny immediately cried, "No, I didn't hear that." He "discerned" by the arm of the flesh (the "sinful flesh" that he has been so willing to retain in the measure that it remains) that helping me to complete my move (as a directive of God) was something he was adamantly opposed to. Yet he followed the "No..." with, "As a friend..." Johnny would do it for fleshly gratification (to receive the praise of man) - but because it was directed by God - he would have to crucify "self" (the flesh). This he did not want and is not willing to do.

No U-haul "flesh-burning" experience for Alan & Johnny (As for the truck, Johnny said he would do it "as a friend"). It is important that we do all and lose all (see my journal for 11/6) to make GOD our friend.

Johnny failed to pray about moving me from Houston to El Paso. He thought his body would not be able to endure the long drive to El Paso. I love Johnny and desire to see God's best for him and this is the reason why I must ask him this question: "How much more pain and suffering does the LORD have to allow one to endure in order to break through their selfish pride so that they'll answer his calling and will for their life?"

Johnny knew instantly - judging by the flesh - that he would have nothing to do with me returning to El Paso - especially in renting and driving a truck with me to complete the move to my new location of ministry, together. It was very evident, seeing as he did not hesitate for a single second to respond to the message I delivered to him. Praying to the Father was not the priority of the day. I was concerned with having him to assist me in the matter of moving me and my unmoved items, only as God's way of doing things. I must go God's way. (WE must do things God's way. It was evident that he was not at all interested in what the LORD's design for completing my move to El Paso was, but only what was pleasing him and gives him a good reputation among men: vainglory - glorying in the flesh - the seat of sinful desires). And God will show the way that He has ordained for it to be accomplished. If nothing else, the word concerning moving the rest of the things to El Paso (completing the move) by Johnny renting and driving a U-haul truck with me to get the job done - revealed his spiritual condition to me: He is not about pleasing the Father in heaven. He is out to do what pleases him, and to make a good showing among men. Johnny’s way will not allow him to finish his course, as he must. That’ what you call holding on to your sinful pride and refusing to walk on God's path for your life and be changed. God is going to stretch us beyond where we are - and cleanse us in the process. Without this, we are destined to walk in error and affect others with "demon error". (See "Word Of Faith Error And Copeland, Meyer, Price And Hinn!" at fmh-child.org.)

After rejecting the word from Kathy, OUTRIGHT (renting a truck to drive to El Paso), Johnny implied that "...as a friend..." he would like to help me with the needs that I had at that time. This indicates his desire for the praise of men, rather than the praise of God (rather do something in the flesh - rather than do it in obedience to God - there in much persecution at times, in doing HIS will...

The word delivered from Kathy by me makes it clear Johnny is not interested in seeking God’s will for his life, to change his sinful nature (this is the way the process works - "word processors") - unless it pleases him and brings a pleasing feeling to his selfish ambition and a favorable appearance among men to his name and life. Without God’s plan many will remain in the flesh/bondage and (He will love us/them) even unto our/their final hellish (hell) destiny for all of eternity.

"Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil" - Hebrews 5:11-14 (KJV).

Johnny has not matured through a walk of obedience to the LORD, "laying every weight, and the sin that so easily besets us" (Hebrews 3:13, KJV). And the following gives an explanation for the two kinds of temptation (tribulation) which are designed for those who walk in the righteousness of the Spirit, and those who choose to walk in fleshly paths - anything other than what the LORD has designed for them and their lives:

Tribulation for Believers - The grievous afflictions, distresses, or burdens that the Almighty uses as a means of destroying the Believer's "unwanted and unwelcome" prideful spirit. It is administered by Satan, under the authority of the Father, to all those who've accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour thereby desiring to "take on" the Flesh and Blood of Jesus. And it's these same Believers in "Jesus Christ and Him crucified" who will likewise experience the "miraculous transformation" of having their "minds renewed in Christ" through this excruciatingly painful "process" of being "crushed, pressed, and squeezed" into the image of Jesus.

Tribulation for un-Believers - The grievous afflictions, distresses, or burdens that the Almighty uses as a means of breaking the un-Believer's desire to retain their prideful spirit. It is administered by Satan, under the authority of the Father, to all those rejecting the Flesh and Blood of Jesus. This excruciatingly painful "process" of being "crushed, pressed, and squeezed" will not bring about a miraculous transformation in the minds of the un-Believers, but only an "agonizing opportunity" for them to give up on "prideful self" by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

Un-Believers are all those who refuse to serve the Master the way of the Master (hearkening to every word that proceeds from His mouth), by choosing to walk their own way, in the flesh (see "Tribulation Horror Show!" at www.fmh-child.org). These un-Believers will experience the shaking and persecution of the Great Tribulation. A True Believer (and a true Jew) should strive to have all of their daily activity directed by God (Romans 14:17; Colossians 3:3). Jesus laid down His life and performed his ministry this way, and we are to do it the same way. As John the Baptist declared, in standing and hearing (following) Him (the voice of the Bridegroom), our joy is therefore fulfilled [at His right hand are pleasures for evermore - Psalms 16:11].

From the reports Johnny has given me, it is evident that he places great significance upon this manifestation and demonstration. It is something to be seen. It places Johnny Davis in the forefront, again. But I haven't heard you speak of what is being done for the people being prayed for - what they are receiving from God. Johnny is receiving attention and validation he and the rest of us long for. Johnny shared with me of the word that the LORD spoke to him on his walk one afternoon, saying, "Don't look to the "NATURAL" eye..." [see through the eyes of faith and love] - 2 Corithians 5:7.

A WORD FROM GOD - 8/24/05

"Too many of the tragic circumstances of life - especially in the event of witnessing harm that either comes to our own lives, or worse - to the life of a loved one - is the necessity of God having to allow a "hammer" to hit us, in order that we may awaken from our complacent attitude towards life and towards Christ. Seeing those who we are assigned to minister to continue to falter in their walks can be discouraging. Hearing the voice of God should be our chief joy. The problem is that we are hard of hearing since our ears are not tuned in spiritually. Most Americans are caught up in a carnal lifestyle - not conducive to maintaining an open line of communication with God. We must reckon ourselves dead to the desires and pursuits of the flesh, for the Bible says "...Whatever is not of faith is sin" - Romans 14:23 (KJV), "And this will we do, if God permit[s]..." - Hebrews 6:3 (KJV)

The disciples of Jesus were taught to live and walk in the Spirit. Jesus did only these things that he saw the Father do. PAUL DECLARED THAT HE 'DIED DAILY' (1 Corinthians 15:31), HAVING BECOME A PRISONER OF JESUS CHRIST" (Ephesians 3:1; 4:1; 1 Timonthy 1:8; Philemon 1:2, KJV). We must seek to do the same. It is so tempting and so easy for us to do so many things that are not part of God's will for our lives. We must walk in the Spirit in order to prevent us from fulfilling the lust of the flesh. For Jesus gave us the key for receiving the prize: "The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life..." - [John 5:19b; 5:30b]; 6:63b (KJV).

A "FALSE PROPHET" is what Johnny has become as a result of his disobedience and choosing the pleasant things of his prophetic ministry, and not obeying God in ALL things that he is called to do. Enjoy the torment (he claims he has recurring "excruciating pain" - nothing compared to what is to come during the Great Tribulation period, followed by multitudes (MAT 7:13-14) who will continue to have their flesh burned off with fire ("weeping") and eaten by worms ("gnashing of teeth") for all of eternity. What a terrible thought. And a more terrible thing to say. But this is what must be said - for it is more terrible for a person to think that they are acceptable to God in their sin - than to know and accept the truth - and choose to change their lives through repentance, and receive true salvation from the Lord Jesus Christ: Stop playing games with God!

Johnny has refused to hearken to God's word and His will, both through the Holy Spirit of God, and through God's prophets that are sent in to minister to those who refuse to obey His word. This message is the result of Johnny's refusal to obey God in all things. Johnny and others who are playing with God must wake up to the truth that they and all that they are called to minister to are headed for unspeakable torment which is imminent through the years of the Great Tribulation period - unless they change their waywardness and give in to the cause of Christ. "Half-measures" and "playing church" do not honor God and do not sanctify and change us into the image of Christ - perfection - which we become as we continue on the walk that God has for us. Every step is important. In order to be called faithful "prisoners of Christ" and bondservants of God, as the Apostle Paul said, and we must take every step that He requires us to take. This "narrow and difficult" way (Matthew 7:13-14) transforms us into His image by crucifying our sinful flesh, and we take on the Spirit of God - through "metabolizing" His word in our mortal bodies (John 6:63) - as we walk in the word that He speaks to our hearts (Matthew 4:4).

The LORD recently spoke a word to Prophet Bruce Hallman, saying, "You're going to see Christians dropping dead." It happened late last year with a pastor mocking God with his doctrine was electrocuted during a baptismal service (see "Acts 5:5 - ZAP!!!" at www.fmh-child.org). And a man that was playing with God while making a pretense of serving Him, asked Brother for a ride one afternoon, and shortly thereafter died in his truck, and during a stop-over for a fill-up of gasoline, the “Brother’s” head drooped down – and the great drops of sweat that beaded upon his body was a manifestation of him descending into the flames of hell. It is happening just as it did in the Book of Acts:

“Ananias conspires to reap selfish gain in the face of the Apostle Peter and God Almighty Himself - liying and prostituting the truth and then holding back a portion of the price of the land for his own selfish gain and lust... "Ananias and Sapphira disregarding the presence of the Holy Ghost whose impulse they pretended to follow fall down dead before the God whom, in their blindness, they sought to deceive in forgetting Him". - JOHN DARBY's synopsis (Acts 5:1-42).

"Many are brought to gross lying by reigning pride, and affectation of the applause of men, particularly in works of charity to the poor. That therefore we may not be found boasting of a false gift given to us, or given by us (Proverbs 25:14). We must not boast even of a true gift, which is the meaning of our Saviour's caution in works of charity, 'Let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth'. Those that boast of God works they never did, are promised good works they never do, or make the good works they do more or better than really they are, come under the guilt of Ananias lie, which it concerns us all to dread the thought of…devouring the poor, orphaned, and widowed .” - MATTHEW HENRY's commentary on the whole Bible

Ananias and Sapphira would take upon them a profession (professing) of Christianity and make a fair [good] show in the flesh with it and so would MOCK God and deceive others when they know they could not go through with the Christian profession [walk of obedience]. - MATTHEW HENRY on Acts Chapter 5.

Johnny had me convinced that he was dedicated to the word of God for his life, and the lives of those he is called to minister life to. Johnny can fool me. Johnny can fool others. But Johnny can't fool God. As the saying goes, "You can fool all of the people some of the time. You can fool some of the people all of the time. But you can't fool God any of the time."

We have found Johnny to be a liar, and Johnny will continue on this fleshly and prideful path that leads to destruction, until he fully embraces God's calling on his life, and surrenders all. We have found Johnny to be a liar, and Johnny will continue on this fleshly and prideful path that leads to destruction, until he fully embraces God's calling on his life, and surrenders all.

Prostituting the Gospel and the Holy Spirit (See "Lanna Perry Prostitutes The Holy Spirit!" at www.fmh-child.org), with the motivation of building up his ego and continuing to puff himself up in pride. Johnny's motivation for speaking and preaching the things of the Bible is done for the purpose of promoting self and creating a good showing among men. He has concerned himself with doing those things which give him a good feeling (about himself) and give him a favorable appearance among men.

Brother Johnny's sin nature has not been dealt with by the Holy Spirit (rendered powerless) due to his disobedience in failing to answer the calling of prophet that is on his life and continuing to choose to do only those things which will produce a good showing before men, and that please his fleshly nature.

Lying to the HOLY SPIRIT - and not men...A "lie" is THE TRUTH (prostituting of the truth of God) used to do the work of the enemy - making merchandise of the Gospel that Jesus poured out his Life's Blood for us to receive on a daily basis.

Johnny's a good talker - makes it sound good - even as he proclaims that he must be about the Father's business. Lots of talk. But lacking the faith and devotion to back it up. Johnny is prideful and self-willed and revealed another example of this through claiming to “humble” a certain acquaintance of his who had become “puffed up” as he was producing a music recording in the studio. But Johnny needs to understand that we do not “humble” others. We humble ourselves before God, that He need not resort to extreme measures – such as this message – that we might be humbled before Him. The Bible declares, “Submit [humble] yourselves therefore to God, and resist the devil… And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted… God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble" - James 4:7; Matthew 23:12; James 4:6 (KJV). So he remains in his prideful way of living when he refuses to humble himself by submitting to the sovereign will of God, “lying against the truth” – as a false prophet does without knowing that he is doing it (for it is the spirit of error within him) – seeking to feed his own sinful lusts and desires.

"For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the Cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame [“vainglory”: glorying in their “sinful flesh” ]." - Philippians 3:18-19 (KJV)

A good question for Johnny is “WHO do you TRUST. And WHO do you SERVE?”

Johnny and others may continue in their perverse and unrepentant paths – doing it their way. But some have said the cry of hell will be “I did it MY way”.

We can continue to be deceived ourselves, and in turn deceive others into believing that we are living for the LORD, but God is not mocked - all things shall be revealed and we will have to come to terms with our sins either sooner, or later. For "How Do You Want Your Fire…Now Or Later?"

"...It had been better if they had never taken the plough, than to have taken it and turned back..." - Luke 9:62 (KJV). TO TURN AWAY from GOD is a TERRIBLE thing!!!

"God is in control" is a word that Johnny finds some comfort in, and has often used in closing telephone conversations between us. I would like to believe this, but God has given man the ministry of intercession (dominion on earth), and this includes the responsibility for prayer, and yielding to the Holy Spirit. Important to include in this message is that God is not in control of Johnny's life, because Johnny chooses not to yield his members to the will of Almighty God. He prefers the praises of men to the praises of God. "And ye would not come to me that ye might have life..." John 5:44 (KJV). "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, He has rejected thee..." - 1 Samuel 15:23 (KJV).

And I take the ministry that God has placed me in as such. It would behoove all of us to do so. People are going to hell everyday. And they are going to be there all day, everyday - for all of eternity. I have asked myself how many of them may have been spared if someone had spoken God's (not their own) convicting word of correction (and compassion) that would have had the potential to change their lives.

It is time for God's children to stop (cease) playing games with Him (God), for He (God) is not playing with His Word or His Spirit (His Word shall judge us) - for He has a standard - and many are perishing without the knowledge, and obedience to that standard. We must shake ourselves from the sin that so easily besets us (Hebrews 3:13, KJV). The consequences for disobedience are inevitable. And "The consequences of disobedience can be devastating..."

These things apply (are also true for) Brother Kelly at Jesus Is The Answer and Sister Margaret at Abundant Living Faith Center, as well (see "Charles Nieman's 'Abundant Living Faith' Is Dead!" at www.fmh-child.org). For they were invited to receive the Word of God from myself and Brother Bruce Hallman, and instead of responding to the Spirit of God, they decided to go on with their own interests, on all 3 occasions.

Kelly and Margaret feared the word of the LORD - because they do not want their secrets to be addressed in the open (open secrets). God's got their "number", too!!! It is the following, "He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made [H]im a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of [H]is Son" - 1 John 5:10, KJV (See Mark 8:34-35, and "Christians Who Make God A Liar!" at www.fmh-child.org).

The first Bible verse that the LORD gave me in order that I might see my legs carry me again (following my motorcycle accident that I sustained a spinal cord injury in) was "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth" - Mark 9:23 (KJV). And He revealed to me that "believing" has everything to do with not just an act of obedience here and there - but a life a lifestyle of obedience. This is true worship. "Worship in Spirit and in truth (John 4:24). And in Mark chapter 10, Jesus said, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. The disciples "...Were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?" Jesus looking upon them said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible". - Mark 10:27 (KJV). So here God has show us through theses 2 verses (and there are many others), that through a walk and life of obedience, we can find salvation and see the kingdom of heaven.

God is not a fool (Galatians 6:7-8): The folks that think they can replace Him are. He is not going to change His mind. So the quicker we decide to accept His will and His call for our lives, the better. There is no time for playing games with the Almighty. When will we decide to obey God in all things - TIME IS SHORT and people are dying ETERNALLY LOST everyday that goes by.

We can fool all of the people some of the time - we can fool some of the people all of the time - but we can't fool God any of the time...

God is not playing your vain hypocritical games, nor does He take it lightly when we speak presumptuously (in pretense) in His name, when He has paid the ultimate price to redeem them (Deuteronomy 18:20).

As for God giving Johnny 1 year to make a decision about moving to El Paso, as he shared, the only wise decision we have to make is to be obedient to the commands that God speaks to our hearts and lives.

God is patient - but our time is (limited) short - He grants us a space of time to repent. Prayerfully and hopefully we will survive long enough to "come to ourselves" and get serious about Kingdom business. There is must work to be accomplished for the kingdom and many who need to know and walk with and Him and obey Him. How can we lead others into a walk of salvation, if we are not on the right path ourselves?

God sees everything, and we need to repent when God convicts us, and get our lives right with God. This is the essence (theme) of this message. Ministers, especially need to see that we are not deceived by the enemy with the sin that "so easily besets us". We are not only responsible for maintaining a repentant lifestyle, but to do so in order that others might be saved. They are our responsibility, and we are going to answer for how we cared or did not care for those that were entrusted to our care. So let all those of us that claim the name of Jesus be able to declare with a pure heart, "LORD, I 'believe' You, "With All I Am".

The following passage is from John Bunyon's book "The Pilgrim's Progress" (ppg. 20-21). It has been said that the reading of this book shall be not only "a pleasurable experience, but a life-changing one..."

"...In a swale he saw three men fast asleep. Their ankles were chained. Christian cried, 'Wake up and flee'. I will help you take off your leg irons. The devil prowls like a 'roaring lion'. 'You will surely become prey for his teeth'.
'I see no danger', said the one called Simple. 'After a little more sleep', answered the man called Sloth.
'Every tub must stand on its own bottom,' and the third, Presumption. 'Leave us alone.'
And the men fell asleep again.
Christian went on. Soon, two men came tumbling over the wall onto the narrow way.
'We are Formalist and Hypocrisy', they said. 'We were born in Vain-Glory and we are going to the Celestial City to get praise'.
'Why didn't you come in at the gate? Don't you know that it is written: The man who does not enter...by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a their and a robber?
They replied, 'Don't trouble yourself. Our custom for more than a thousand years is to take a shortcut. We are on the way, just as you are. So why is your condition any better than ours?
'I walk by the rule of my Master. You walk by the rude working of your own devices. You came in by yourselves, and you shall go out by yourselves -- without His mercy.'
He explained his rich garments, the mark on his forehead, and his rolled certificate with the seal. The two looked at each other and laughed. All three continued on the way. Soon they came to a spring at the foot of the Hill of Difficulty. Christian drank from the spring and was that the narrow way went straight up the hill. Two other paths went around the base of the hill. One of the men took the path called Destruction. The other took the path called Danger.
Christian began to go up the hill, saying:

'This hill, though high, I do long to ascend,
To me the difficulty won't offend,
For I perceive the way to life lies here:
Come pluck up heart, let's neither faint nor fear;
Better, though difficult, the right way to do,
Than wrong, though easy, where the end is woe...'"

I am committed to assisting Brother Johnny in his calling and walk with the LORD, as we are called to walk together and encourage each other, and others that the LORD would have us to in this journey through life with. I pray that Johnny will let God be God in his life, and it will be a rapid turn-around at this point in time. So let's look to that day, so we can be counted among the faithful.

Receive God's “100-fold” blessing, and eternal life, as you seek to honor the Voice of the Bridegroom. Amen.

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are sons of God..." - Romans 8:14 (KJV)

"If you love [M]e, keep my commandments…" - John 14:15 (KJV)

          Them that honor [M]e, I will honor..." - 1 Samuel 2:30 (KJV)

          Love in Christ Jesus,

          Brother Alan 1/1/06
