The following letter-form was brought about as a means of teaching my children the Word of God through the mail. And of course, quite naturally so, that’s the reason I begin these letters with "Dear Children" and end them with "Love Dad". So for the rest of you who participate in these weekly messages, please keep their original intended purpose in mind.

3 October, 2004

Dear Children,

Amazingly enough, for the third straight week we’ve been empowered by the Almighty to produce yet another sermonet! God is good…all the time! Now even though I’m truly blessed to be back writing again, at the same time I’m saddened by some of the things we’ve had to say. Take for instance the strong Word of correction to Brother Swaggart last week in The Monster Within Jimmy Swaggart Threatens To Kill Gays! (9/26/04). I mean what does it take to wake some of us up to God’s Truth?

Well now that we’ve got that sermonet behind us, what do you say we continue on with part II of our new series. Because it was in part I – Jesus Was An Outlaw…And So Am I! (9/19/04) – that we gave a few of the details concerning my earlier arrest and incarceration:

“Now the way most folks would look at my situation (those who don’t know the whole story) is that anybody, such as me, who doesn’t obey the law by paying their “court ordered” child support and alimony deserves to be put in the jailhouse…if not under it! However, you see in my case I’ve got a very good excuse for my seemingly very un-Christ-like behavior. I mean the truth of the matter is that God Almighty used my ex-wife Annie to “put me to another big test”! In other words, was I really really willing to put Him (God Almighty) above the law – first in my life - and regardless of the consequences?”

So now that we’ve given you a few of the details of how I became an “outlaw for Jesus” in part I, it’s time for part II and what I experienced “behind bars”!

But before we go there, let me start off this sermonet – “A Prisoner For Christ!” – by giving you a little “history lesson” on my “journey of obedience”. Because you see this thing about being a Christian (follower of Jesus) is all about having a total commitment to serve the Lord, and proving it through a life-long walk of obedience to His Word! In fact my most recent “arrest and imprisonment” all started back on the 19th of April, 1991, when I answered God’s calling to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ by incorporating the FMH Children’s Club International. At that time Annie and I had been married for approximately 15 years, however my decision to serve Christ “without compromise” certainly didn’t guarantee that she would do the same. And it’s sad to say but what followed shortly thereafter was a gradual deterioration in our marriage as I continued walking in obedience to the Will of God even though she didn’t. In fact it was Annie’s rebellion (refusal to walk in obedience to the Father) that Father God actually used to test my love and commitment for Him “time and time again”. In other words the bottom-line choice that I had to make was whether I was going to please my wife (Annie) or God! And as you can read in our sermonet The New Beginnings And Pastor Hector Saucedo!” (11/25/01) it was back in 1994, after Annie’s refusal to obey God’s command to “Move to Texas and don’t turn back!”, that this test of my “love for God” kinda like went into overdrive!.

I mean there I was, living in the “promised land” of Texas, just as God had directed, but without my wife and children. You see Annie had tricked me into believing that if I made the move she would follow…but then she just “decided” (all of the sudden) not to move after all. And if that wasn’t bad enough already, it was two years later (September of 1996) that Father God had me change jobs in order to test my obedience to an even greater degree. Because you see it was on the 25th of March, 1999, - a little over two (2) years after having taken my new God-directed job with The Toro Company - that I was fired from that same company for speaking “what thus saith the Lord” to it’s CEO Mr. Kendrick Melrose (see sermonet The Big Snake Makes A Strike! (3/28/99)). So just what do you think of that?

Well, taking this testing thing just a little bit further, it was right about the time I got the axe from Toro that Father God let me know I would not be gainfully employed again until He got me my job back with The Toro Company. In other words “No Job, No Money, But God Will Provide!” That was what God wanted for our lives but it certainly wasn’t what my wife Annie wanted. So, once again, Annie put me to the test through her very “deceitful divorce” and it’s very “unmerciful demands” for both child support ($$$) and alimony ($$$)…and even though God wouldn’t let me get a job. I mean, after all, how in the world was I going to pay?

Well at that time, the only thing of any real value remaining in my possession was one-half of our 80-acre farm in Loris, South Carolina…but the Lord wouldn’t let me sell it. And the reason He wouldn’t let me sell it was (is) because Annie’s divorce was (is) a “lie of the Devil” and very soon Father God is going to overturn it. In other words, I’m going to get both the kids and the farm back when my lawyer (God Almighty) proves that Annie used “entrapment” and “defamation of character” to win her case against me. (See A Christian’s Divorce Time-Line! for many more of the exciting details.)

But not wanting to get ahead of the story, let’s go back in time before the divorce, to the 20th of May, 1999, when my two youngest children, Arthur and Hadassah, joined me in El Paso, Texas, to war “the good fight of faith” against the enemy. You see it was because of Annie’s refusal to follow God’s plan for our lives that the Hallman family had altogether become splintered and separated. However, it was only two months after having lost my job for obeying the Lord that He brought the three of us back together again. And it was during this very special time together that the Lord used both Arthur and Hadassah to speak Words of prophecy about our family situation. In fact it was on 7/25/99 that Arthur wrote the very prophetic sermonet No Job, No Money But God Will Provide! in regards to my future job with The Toro Company.

Then it was on 10/24/99 that Hadassah spoke Words from the Lord concerning His promise for me: You’re like Joseph in prison but God is going to get you out and exalt you to a higher position to do his work.”

Glory!!! I get Holy Ghost goose bumps every time I read it!

But anyway, following along with that same train of thought, it was also on the very same day (10/24/99) that Arthur received Psalm 105 from the Lord as applying to us, with verses 17-22 matching up with what Hadassah had spoken only a short time earlier:

He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him. The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance: To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.” (Psalms 105:17-22)

Glory be to Jesus!!! I’m getting “happy” just reading it again! God is good…all the time!

But getting back to our history lesson, the prophetic Words spoken through Hadassah and Arthur were without a doubt very encouraging – “God is going to get you out and exalt you to a higher position to do his work!” However, at the very same time the prophetic Words spoken through Hadassah and Arthur were without a doubt very disturbing - “You’re like Joseph in prison”. Because you see the part about being locked up in jail came before the part about me getting a top-level job back in the corporate world.

And then it was on the 18th of February 2004 (almost four and a-half years later) that a dear Sister spoke another Word to me from the Lord that kinda like fit in with the one about “Joseph being in prison”. However, this one was not just “disturbing”, it actually sent goose bumps running up and down my spine…but believe you me, these were not the Holy Ghost kind:

Subject: Ezekiel

Good morning Brother Bruce

I was led to Ezekiel last night. I knew the Lord had a Word for you & when I read it, I was encouraged myself. I mean, in all actuality, just reading Ezekiel will encourage us all to count our blessings. Well, Brother, chapter 2 of Ezekiel is for you. And verse 6 resonated in my spirit. When I read it last night the 3rd time asking the Lord about it, I felt a BIG battle coming for you.

The Lord woke me up this morning at 3:30am. I knew it was Him so I said "yes Lord, you want me to pray? Who do I pray for?" immediately the answer was Bruce. So, Brother, I prayed and prayed for you not knowing what was coming or going to come against you. Put your whole armour on!

I was dragging this morning but knew you would have a reply to me from our Lord so I was motivated to get the sorry flesh moving. Thanks for the direction and I will mediate on it and let the Lord minister to me in the areas He feels necessary.

Bruce, you said you are "homeless" now and I know it is for Jesus but where do you actually stay?

You do have a shelter and food, don't you? Will you explain what has happened to your inheritance that your Mother left you. Will you one day get that back for the children? What exact vision has the Lord birthed in you regarding FMH?

I know I am full of questions today and if you don't feel led to discuss them, that is ok. I am praying for you and Sandy. I am seeking the Lord diligently. I have a desire to help you & I want to see you inherit all the blessings the Lord has for you. Bruce one final Word from the Lord. "Be sure to EAT what He gives thee." The Lord wanted me to impress that upon you.

Love in Christ to you & Sandy

(For my answers to Sister Angie’s e-mail questions see My Response at the end of this letter.)

So do you see why that Word from God brought fear into my heart? Well to be perfectly honest with you, after having been through all that I’ve been through, and then having God tell me that I was headed into a “BIG battle” and to put on my “whole armour”, was anything but what my flesh wanted to hear. I mean this thing about “fighting the good fight of faith” only comes about through much suffering and pain. And even though I realized it had to be done, it was the part about this battle being a “BIG one” that intimidated me to no end. In fact just how big is BIG? Well here’s the very “encouraging” Scripture from God that went along with that prophetic e-mail from Sister Angie:

“And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee. And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me. And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day. For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD. And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them. And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious. But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee. And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein; And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.” (Ezekiel 2:1-10 KJV)

And just what in the world was that all about? Would you be encouraged through that Scripture? I mean it’s all about God’s “calling for the prophet”; to just speak what “thus saith the Lord” and just do it even though the “rebellious people” don’t want to hear it! Just do it, saith the Lord! Do it even though the rebellious people will tear your flesh like briars and set your flesh on fire like the stingers of many scorpions. “Be not afraid!” saith the Lord, just do it!

Well the part about “be not afraid” is a whole lot easier said than done. And even though God’s Word in that Scripture was not what I wanted to hear, it was the very last verse that I knew I had to “grab hold to” and “not let go of”: “open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee”! I mean it was that one little old verse that made me determined to eat everything the Lord put on my plate…and regardless of how bad it might taste!

And just how bad did it taste? Well it was only a few months later that I found out when God’s “promised Word” finally came to pass: “You’re like Joseph in prison”…“Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron”. Because you see it was on the 29th of April, 2004, that I was arrested and taken into custody for not paying the court ordered “child support and alimony” that resulted from my ex-wife’s evil divorce. And from that fateful day on until the 10th of May I had a sampling of what the Lord was going to feed me. You see during those eleven (11) days in prison I was shuttled back and forth between the El Paso Jail (downtown) and the El Paso Annex with both my hands and feet shackled in iron (handcuffed).

But that was just a taste, and likewise only the beginning of what I was going to experience! Because on the 10th of May, 2004, my “journey of all journeys” began when the “cattle bus” from TransCorp America picked me up for that long awaited trip back to stand trial. And what an adventure that turned out to be! I mean you wouldn’t believe the things I witnessed during that loooooong bus ride back to South Carolina!

First of all, the bus held about thirty prisoners who were not only shackled “hand and feet” but also shackled together in pairs then locked in three separate wire caged compartments. There were criminals of every kind on that bus (murderers, robbers, drug offenders, sex offenders and etc.), both male and females, who were physically separated in cages according to gender. However, even though TransCorp America did a really nice job of isolating the men from the women (wire cages), they didn’t do a very good job of keeping the males and the females isolated. Because throughout the entire trip the males and females not only gawked at each other but also shouted and acted out all kind of ugly and obscene profanities! It was like a live XXX movie! It was awful! And as I’m sure you can well imagine, I was constantly praying for those people who “acted like animals” while trying not to retain any of their grotesque actions in my mind.

So that’s just a sample of what my glorious TransCorp America bus ride was like. Because when you combine that (people acting like wild animals in heat) with a non-stop bus ride for days on end without proper hygiene (brushing of teeth, combing of hair, washing of body), you’ve got a pretty good picture of what I went through. I mean you just wouldn’t believe how that TransCorp America bus smelled after a few days of travel. Talk about STINK! I mean it stank something awful!!! But come to think of it, what am I complaining about? At least they loosened our handcuffs (if we asked) when we needed to use the “out-house”. And the reason I say out-house is because that’s about the extent of the TransCorp America bus bathroom. It was a very small room that contained an open tank filled with a liquid in which the prisoners did their business; both #1 and #2. There was no need to flush, and likewise no need to wash your hands, because neither of them was really an option!

Well the journey took a total of eleven (11) days, and along the way I had a “lay over” at two (2) different jails. The first one was an overnighter, somewhere that I don’t even remember, where less than a dozen of us had to stay. And even though they promised us a shower, it never ever came about. Then after a few more days of travel we were off-loaded from the “cattle bus” into a fairly large jail-house facilities in Christian County Kentucky, and this was where I got my only two (2) showers during my eleven (11) day journey to jail.

Now during my stay at Christian County Kentucky there was a total of about twenty-two (22) men all living in what appeared to be a large classroom with a bathroom and shower. We slept on the floor and likewise ate on the floor for a total of three (3) days. In fact with all the people involved it was kinda like having a floor covering of wall to wall bodies. We had a TV that pretty much stayed on twenty-four (24) hours a day, and cigarettes were handed out one (1) to two (2) times a day for good behavior…but of course I didn’t smoke any. On the most part this cigarette incentive worked, that is except on one occasion when a very short tempered, flippant, and very dangerous man slammed another against the concrete wall. I mean he hit the wall so hard I expected to see him slump over dead…but by the grace of God he appeared to be only shaken. So after three (3) days in the Christian County Jail we were off to tour America, once again, compliments of TrasCorp America.

And now that I’ve pointed out a bunch of negative experiences during my “bus ride to Hell”, let me focus on a few of the positive ones. Because there were people, good people who seemed to truly love the Lord but just couldn’t get out of their seemingly never ending loop of sin, that I saw quite a few of! And what really blew me away was that these were some of the same ones shouting obscenities during those “animal riots” I was telling you about earlier. I mean these guys and gals were rough…but when you got them calmed down and talking about Jesus you could see how much the Lord really loved them. Because time after time I would hear their stories about how the Lord God Almighty had been dealing with them “in their sin”. Without a doubt, God has great and mighty things planned for many of these prisoners…that is “IF” they will only let Him set them free from their prison.

So, other than eating at fast food restaurants for every meal (McDonald’s, Burger King, and etceteras), the trip was truly what God had promised though the prophetic Words of Arthur and Hadassah five (5) years earlier. In fact throughout my journey to South Carolina the Lord continued to replay those Words in my mind:

“He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.”

And then came the fateful day of my arrival. The bus driver got lost along the way and somehow we ended up in Florence instead of Conway. What a trip, but at least I got to see some familiar places that I hadn’t seen for a long time. It was shortly after daylight by the time we drove into Aynor for my last fast food breakfast of the trip. From there it was only a short drive to my new home behind bars, so quite naturally my mind sped into overdrive with concern. What would it be like? How many faces from the past would I see? Would they understand my situation? Would I be ridiculed without mercy? And what about my day in court; how many days in jail would I get, or just maybe the Lord would quickly set me free? All these questions and many many more were rolling through my mind at break-neck speed…and then we were there.

I believe the hardest thing to accept in the jail-house environment is the amount of cursing that takes place within it’s walls. I mean everybody is cursing, including the officers! Men, women, young, and old…they were all doing it! It’s one of those things that I had to constantly ask the Lord to remove from my memory as the days wore on. And of course if the cursing wasn’t bad enough, the spirit of hatred that sometimes went along with it was. But as bad as things might have been, at every step of my journey, as I went deeper into the prison system, the Lord continued to show me people to whom I would witness. The ministry work that the Lord allowed me to be a part of in jail was truly awesome, and regardless of the evil that surrounded me!

But anyway, getting back to my arrival, it was shortly after 8:00 a.m. when I was searched and then loosed from my restraints. Boy did it feel good to be out of those shackles! I was then put in a holding cell, with quite a few radical youth I might add, for what seemed to be an eternity. After that came the booking part of the process (photo and paperwork) which was shortly followed by a shower and my new set of clothes (I love red!). I was then given a very brief medical exam and shortly thereafter taken before the judge to have my bond set. Now I personally thought that $50,000 was a bit steep, but that’s what the judge said so that was that. From there I was taken to the segregation pod which consisted of about twenty (20) two-bunk holding cells. I had only a few minutes to lay down, something I had been deprived of for days upon end, and then it was time to eat. My food tray was slid through an opening in the door, and once I finished I had to return it by sliding it back under the door. What a trip this was going to be!

Well as it turned out I was only in segregation for a few hours before getting assigned to the best pod in the jail; A-2. This was where they put the prisoners they considered to be less violent than the rest. On the opposite end of the good-bad scale was B-Max in which the most radical and violent offenders were kept. I mean you wouldn’t even want to know some of the stuff that went on in that pod! So there I was, situated in my new home, and then came the law. Because it was only after a few hours that an officer served me with the “arrest warrant” that had brought me there in the first place…all the way from Texas. (See A Christian’s Divorce And Arrest! for more details.)

All that took place on a Friday. Then, after a weekend of adjusting to life in A-2, I was shackled once again and carried downtown to Horry County Family Court for sentencing. There I was all dressed up in red, shackled hands and feet, standing before the judge to receive my sentence. Well the charge that was read against me made me look like the lowest of the low, and then the judge sentenced me to one hundred and eighty days of straight time with no hope of an early release for “good behavior”. What a bummer!

So after spending several hours in the court house holding cell I was finally taken back to my new home just in time to go back to my next bond hearing. This time the judge was much more lenient; he set my bail at only $25,000. I was starting to think that just maybe he was having pity on me. And then it was back to my cell to pick up my belongings, because my new home was what they call M.S. or Minimum Security. Unlike the monstrous brick building of the security jail, this building resembled an army barracks surrounded by a high fence with razor wire at the top. It housed a total of 100 inmates, and I was now one (1) of the one hundred (100) who lived there.

Well I don’t remember what day it was, but shortly after I got there I was able to call the only friend that I knew who would/could accept my jail house collect phone call. His name is John and he’s my Messianic Jewish friend who gave me a place to stay when I was “homeless for Jesus”. It was so good to hear his voice again, and what was even better was that he had a Word from the Lord especially for me. In fact not only had God given Brother John a Word to give to me, but He also gave a Word to two other Brothers as well. I mean I was starting to feel down right special, and regardless of all the jail house confinements. And starting with Brother John first, the following is what the Lord gave him to give to me:

“Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.” (John 12:35 KJV)

Now based on what the Lord has been showing me about His Light, I definitely didn’t want to reject any of it that He sends my way. So as the Scripture warned, I was determined to “eat everything the Lord put on my plate”…and regardless of how bad it might taste! (See Photosynthesis: The Key To This Life And The Next! for more details.)

Well that was the very encouraging Scripture from the Lord through Brother John, and now for the very encouraging Scripture from the Lord through Brother Alan and Brother Jose. Because you see these two Brothers in Christ both received the same Scripture even though they were many miles apart. Now that’s what you call confirmation! And here it is:

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.” (James 1:12 KJV)

So as you can see, the Lord encouraged me through those two Scriptures to just embrace the suffering that He had set before me – eat everything the Lord put on my plate – and the victory would be mine!

Well I really won’t go into all the day to day details of life in jail, but I will say this much about my work. The Lord saw to it that the folks at HCDC assigned me a job that allowed me to witness for Jesus in a very powerful way. And the job that I was given was none other than janitor for the “booking area” where all the prisoners are brought in for processing. In other words, from the time they walked in the back door until the time they were taken to their permanent cell I was in their presence. And boy oh boy how the Lord used me to witness! Glory!!!

So that was the work I did during my time in Minimum Security. Seven (7) days a week I took a ride in a Sheriff’s car from M.S. to the main HCDC building where I worked as janitor for eight (8) or nine (9) hours every day. This I did until the 3rd of August when once again I had to appear before the Horry County Family Court and stand trial for “contempt of court”. Because you see one of the things that the Family Court had ordered me to do was sign over one-half of our 80-acre farm to my ex-wife Annie…however, the Lord wouldn’t let me do it. And furthermore, all during my glorious extradition ride to South Carolina the Lord continued telling me “Don’t sign the papers, no matter what the consequences!”

Well on the day of my hearing I was once again handcuffed, both hands and feet, and taken for a ride to the court house. Immediately upon walking (shuffling) into the court house my ex-wife’s lawyer presented me with the deed to the property for me to sign. My only reply was a blank stare. Then came the judge! After the normal formalities he too instructed me to sign the papers, at which time I told him I had a prepared statement to read. Because you see the day before this trial the Lord gave me exactly what to say to the court and here it is:

Prepared Statement (see Original Statement):

Reading the Word of God from Romans chapter 13, verses 1-4, as found in the King James Holy Bible, we find the following Truths of God’s intended purpose for the “legal system”:

“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same. For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain; for he is the minister of God, a revenger to [execute] wrath upon him that doeth evil.”

What I have just read is God’s Word concerning the power He has given those in the “legal system” to be a “terror” against those who do “works of evil”. God’s power is given to punish evil and reward good. However, sometimes the process breaks down and one must stand up against the “legal system” that has ruled in favor of “works of evil” instead of “works of good”.

Take for instance the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego as found in the book of Daniel chapter 3. The king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, was empowered by God to carry out justice against his chosen people – the nation of Israel – who had committed “works of evil” by refusaing to follow God.

As the story goes, King Nebuchadnezzar’s army captured the Israelites and took them to Babylon as slaves. During this time Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego did not rebel against the authority of King Nebuchadnezzar because they knew he had been empowered by God to carry out justice.

However, when Nebuchadnezzar built the golden image, and demanded that the Israelites bow down and worship it as god, this was where the three had to draw the line. Nebuchadnezzar had overstepped his bounds by using his God-given power to work evil instead of good. And it’s this history lesson from the Word of God that captures my situation with the Horry County Family Court’s ruling concerning the Final Decree Of Divorce for Anaith Hallman vs. Arthur Bruce Hallman, Sr.

Due to the fact that an attorney, who was not my attorney, stood up in the court of law and claimed to represent my best interest, when in actuallity she didn’t, justice has not been administered through the Horry County Family Court system, as empowered by God Almighty, in the Final Decree Of Divorce for Anaith Hallman vs. Arthur Bruce Hallman, Sr.

Attorney Anita R. Floyd asked to be relieved as my counsel on February 20th, 2001, three months after having claimed to be my attorney, because of the South Carolina Bar Association’s ruling on my behalf concerning my complaint filed against her.

Anaith Hallman’s divorce was based on lies and half truths that the Horry County Family Court has believed to be the “truth”. God has empowered this court to punish evil and reward good. I pray this court will allow me to prove that Anaith Hallman used the legal syatem to do evil against me throgh her devices of “entrapment” and “defamation of character”.

However, if this court will not allow me to prove my innocence in this matter, I must reply to this court’s demands just as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego did to Nebuchadnezzar when ordered to fall down and worship the golden image.

Because by reading verses 15-18 of Daniel chapter 3 we find the following demand by the King and the reply of God’s faithful three:

“Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; [well:] but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace, and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands? Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchanezzar, we [are] not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be [so], our God whom we serve is able to deliver [us] out of thine hand, O King. But if not, be it known unto thee, O King, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”

Well needless to say, that one went over like a lead balloon. I mean before I even got a third of the way through reading it Annie’s lawyer started coughing and sputtering her objections to what was being read. So from that point on I had to kinda like “wing it” the rest of the way through, and do it in a hurry.

But anyway, the speech didn’t turn anybody’s opinion in my favor, and the bottom line decision I had to make was “would I sign the papers or remain in jail?” Because you see, as the judge put it, if I didn’t sign the papers he was going to add one hundred and eighty (180) days to my sentence. And…right about the time that sentence had been served he was going to bring me back to see if I would sign them again. And…if I refused again, he was going to add one hundred and eighty (180) days to my sentence and keep on repeating the process until I finally did what the court ordered. In other words I was either going to sign the papers or spend the rest of my life in jail.

So did I sign the papers? No!!! And the reason I didn’t sign it was because God’s Light (His Word) instructed me not to sign the papers. In other words I walked in His Light by obeying the Words that He commanded me to do. And glory hallelujah He took care of the rest!

Because you see from that point on I was greatly encouraged by the Lord, through other Brothers in Christ, that my time at HCDC was not going to be as long as the judge had declared. And for the rest of this exciting story you’ll have to tune in next week and read the rest of my story in Jail Break - Busted Out By Jesus! (10/10/04)

But until then, don’t give in even a little bit to Old Splitfoot. Walk in all the Light that the Lord has sent your way – eat everything on your plate so to speak – so that you too can “keep on keeping the faith in Jesus!!!”

Dear Sister Angie,

Thank's for the Word from Ezekiel and for your early morning prayer. That's dedication Sister...keep up the good work!

I'm praying about what you said concerning the BIG battle. The thing I love about battles is when they've finally ended and the victory celebration is at hand. I wonder if today's Small Straws ties in with this upcoming war; New Beginnings. The Lord has constantly reminded me that the real battle will come when He "turns-on" His promised blessings for our ministry. Will I continue seeking His face in the midst of His blessings? But then again, the part about "Be sure to EAT what He gives thee" brings to mind some of the things that the Lord has set before me that were pretty hard to bite down on...and one of them was becoming "homeless for Jesus".

Now for your questions. I still have the camper, but it's parked out front of the apartment in which I'm presently staying. A Brother in Christ has given me a spot on the floor to sleep at night, a kitchen to cook our meals in, and a bathroom to take care of my other needs. I have been with him since the first of the year and the Devil has tried his best to turn this Brother against me. You wouldn't believe the "Christians" that "old serpent breath" has used to try and convince the Brother to kick me out. In fact all the various places that I've stayed over the past two years ended because of "splitfoot's" efforts. A prophet is not well liked...even among the Brethren.

But anyway, the Lord has seen to it that I collect food stamps, so that takes care of my food for now.

And what about my inheritance? Well all of it (cash) was used to purchase the 80-acre farm in South Carolina which has been chopped up as a result of the divorce. However, the Lord has promised me that not only will the divorce be "overturned" because of Annie's evil work of "entrapment" and "defamation of character" on me, but I'll also get the children back, along with the farm and my job at Toro. Glory!!!

Now for the FMHCCI. The farm in South Carolina will be developed to bring in a source of cash flow for the ministry. Along with the ranch for the 100 little prophets in Del City, Texas, will be several other "farms" for just "ordinary" children. To date He has shown me one in each of the following locations: Fabens, TX; Leesville, SC; and New Orleans, LA.

Along with the children, our ministry will be used to reach out to the "top dogs" in the corporate world. I mean, after all, that's what we're doing right now. In fact the position the Lord's going to give me back in The Toro Company will put me at the "top of the corporate ladder" in order to deal directly - face to face - with those who wouldn't even consider listening to me now. It's all about my calling as a prophet and being able to speak "thus saith the Lord" to all those we're called to reach.

And, by the way, the last time I went out to see God's promised 20,000-acre ranch (see Statement Of Purpose) in Del City, Texas, was back in November(?) when I showed it to Sandy. During that trip the Lord started showing us how it could be opened-up for other Christians to settle on...kinda like a Christian city for the end-times. In fact the Lord told me back in 1998 that the ranch was going to be a "safe-haven" for the up-coming very troubled times. He's instructed me to get my pilot's license current and then get my multi-engine rating. The ranch will have a runway and the FMHCCI will have our own planes.

So how's that for a vision? Pray about it. And, because it is such a big promise, that's why all those who are called to be a part of the FMHCCI must pass some pretty rigorous testing. "Many are called" of God for the FMHCCI ministry "but few are chosen" because they aren't willing to pass His test.

God bless you Sister for being willing to join in the battle by lifting up Sandy and me in prayer!

In the Lord Jesus Christ,

Bruce and Sandy
